PvP Characters With Variable Primary
I do not know the limitations behind this/how much programming it would need,, but no having to reroll all the time for things like HA in particular would be nice.
Just a thought.

Re-rolling, or switching characters, isn't that much of a big hassle. Just click log out, then character select, and do what you need to do. It's fast enough as it is and to switch primary in ANY character is ludicrous. /not signed!

The solution for this already exists as Character Slots get one for each profession and done.
It has the extra of having both more storage and more miniatures if you keep th characters.

it would be nice, but you would have to preassign appearances (and what if you switch genders for some chars, that would be awkward :/)
by rerolling chars so much i can do it in literally 10 seconds (all the faces etc. stay in the same place... ive kinda memorized their general locations for the appearances i like), so i dont think its that necessary.

1. Find out what character you must be - 1 second.
2. Character switch - 1.5 second on good PC, 2-6... on bad, like my laptop. Let's stick to 2 sec, that's enough.
3. Select your PvP character that you will delete. 1 second.
4. Press delete and type in your character's name. 2 seconds, some may faster, some slower.
5. Make new character, select a name, profession. 4-5 seconds.
1+1.5+1+2+3 = 9.5 seconds, although usually it's MUCH slower, because lag kicks in pretty often.
How it should be:
1. Find out what character you must be. 1 second
2. Switch primary profession. 1 second
1+1 = 2 seconds.
That IS an improvement. Same why they allowed to change our secondary profession faster. Or make templates.

Switching profession is not mere 10 seconds!
It's not about laziness!
When you have to reroll a new profession you need to delete one and create a new character and make all equipment sets for him again and get him ready to play. All this usually takes 2-3 minutes. and that's if you have build and armor templates to load.
and ROTFL @ character slots being a solution - you expect people to spend $100 on slots for all professions pvp chars? Absurd!
Another important problem is the PvP reward items that get lost if you reroll a char. That's why I don't use them at all.
so
/SIGNED
as I would absolutely love if it was possible, for many resons,
but sadly I suppose implementing such thing would be incredibly hard.

I don't really see how this would be possible, but /signed. I'd be more than happy to make my character look like a generic stick instead of armor sets if I could make a PvP slot change primaries.

So you're saying that 10-40 seconds is god aweful long? You have to be hot headed if you think this lasts forever. Think virtuous instead of aggressively. It's seriously not a big deal if it doesn't take ten minutes to switch, or make a different character. And if it does take that long, then upgrade, or fix your laggy computer and/or internet.

If the "Exit to Character Select Screen" feature was implemented, I don't see why this shouldn't.

This could be nice, but at the same time, couldn't it defeat the purpose of character slots for those who only pvp? I guess they could do what they wanted, but it would be weird for them having only one slot used... Personally I like the idea since I have 1 pvp-only slot.

The lack of this really stuffs up HA pugs. It's hard to reroll another slot when it takes 2-3 mins to do so, your spot is filled by then.
Given the way the game is set up though it's far too difficult to fix. It sounds like this will not be an issue in GW2 at least.

Awesome idea, would save everyone a lot of time. Less waiting more playing!
Also whether or not an idea is feasible or not is for ANet to decide! Assuming you're not all awesome programmers/scripters and that someone from ANet still reads this stuff.
Btw, this 10s rerolling and 'lolololol lazy lolol' stuf doesn't make sense. Even if you already have a name in mind and just keep mashing 'next' instantly, its still going to take at least a minute. Loading templates, making sure its all correct, creating weaponset 2-4 and all shields. When someone's rerolling you can generally go afk for at least a couple of min. This option would be a great timesaver.

Another solution would be to just let us save all 4 weapon slots and maybe our inventory as a template. Probably less coding to do too.
Most of the time spent creating a new character is loading weapons + multiple shields and stuff, at least a few minutes.

They were originally going to have Razah a multi class hero but back out of that so it IS possible.
Like someone said before though they would have to pre select appearance for this to work, although it wont happen.
Would be nice though /signed
