Maybe there are some people that want a way to get money without hard core PvE-ing all the time. Out of the last 1,000 hours I put into GW, maybe 25 was in PvE. Now I have about 2.5k to my name. I'd like to be able to buy some equipment for my PvE characters so I can use them in PvP and not have them go to waste. There is currently no way for me to make money without relegating to PvE, which I'd rather not do, I personally find it terribly boring.
In the current market, it is near impossible to sell my Zaishen Keys, I spent a good deal of time zoning between Kamadan and Great Temple of Balth, LA, and other places to try to sell my keys, and not one pm or anything. No one wants them. Currently there is a very slim chance of getting an item from there that is worth getting. I decided to just use my Keys on the chest, because I obviously wasn't going to sell them. I got a few Firewaters, Crem Brulees, and a req 12 gold hammer, and a req 13 soul reaping wand.
I never buy Zaishen Keys anymore, I just stick to Tournament Tokens, because then I can at least use them for something worthwhile.
Basically, the point of my story is, there needs to be a way for PvP players to get money. Currently, there is none. I'd like to have at least a hope to maybe have more than 30k at a time for once in my GW existence.

OH, so this has nothing to do with minis, you just want free/easy/gimmee gold. There is no way for you to make money with out PvEing eh? Well there is no way for me to get a pizza without ordering one.
WHAA WHAA, "easier" is not the answer to anything, "work" is.

PvPers ussually don't have the time to grind out UW for money to afford Guest Invites/Guild Halls.

PvP-only accounts have the right to get complete guild halls to.
If they add the Xunlai Market, it should be in the Battle Isles, so even they could put the stuff they get in the HoH and Zaishen chests to sell while still playing.

|
I already enjoyed the game ....I've played through all campaigns, and guess what my new enjoy is now ???
right, collecting everything, that is putable for my HoM, to get it COMPLETE... it when i start collecting something, then I want to be able to collect EVERYTHING of something and not only the stuff, anet gives us only and the rest only to an other part of the player base.
All I want is to have at least a chance to get these minipets, without insane endless powerfarming or powertrading with gigantic amounts of ectos which are impossible to get, without grinding for them for years or farming gold for years and having luck in powertrades to get quicker on huge amounts of money, which mostly have only botters or gold buyers and cheaters which duped armbraces and got through the controls of anet savely without getting banned laughing their ass off
Anet should give us simple more alteratives to receive those minipets, after working for them, other then paying for them unhumaous amounts, becoming after that self extreme poor and making someone else insta super rich.
Would minipets not be a part of the Hall of Monuments, then this all would absolutely care me nothing, but they ARE part of it and thus resulting in a very important thing for collectors whiuch want to perfectionzie their HoM.
People, like me, which see in this the ultimate goal of "enjoyment" of the game, after playing all 3 campaigns and the Add on through ...
When you can't understand this, then you must have never collected something really with the wish to have all parts of the stuff, you collect...because that is the SENSE of collecting....you collect somethign with the goal to have ALL parts of what you try to collect, otherwise your collection will be ever UNCOMPLETE
And an uncomplete collection will be EVER a big thorn in your Eye... this is like, as if you try to become legendary survivor and then you die short after obtaining r1 and then you get forced to look ever at your unmaxed "uncomplete" title as it is now in GW so ...
What have people a problem with it, when Dngeons Chests would receive now also a little Chance, to drop those rare minipets ?
oh wow, that over some time the insane prices would decrease ?
OMFG, really this will be the doom of Guild Wars *sarcasm*
No super rare minipets anymore, no we will all stop playing, because we have then nothing anymore to become far much super rich, then we are all still ...be in on legal.. or illegal wise ...
As if Anet couldn't implement whenever they want new super rare items to make hardcore people happy again ... >.>
The important thing to me is only, that absolutely NOTHING, should be super rare with such insanous prices and limitations, what is anyhow related to the Hall of Monuments.
I think I made a good idea for a good super rare alternative for hardcore gamers with implementing 3 new super rare "rare" materials
the Damascus, the Orichalcum and Mythril, the 3 most strongest kinds of metals.
In my example post before I also stated i think a good way of implemention reason for them and what people could use these 3 mnew metals for, what has nothing to to about the HoM and lets them be total uninteresting for Collectors.
I will also post this idea soon in an own thread to explain it more and better
@Holymasamune: the one that needs to go back for economics is you, because when you don't know, what it means to the price of something, when somethign has a huge demand but the supply becomes more and more lesser, through dedications and deletions also, thus resulting in decreasing the limited supply...then you should shup up better.
If I sell now both rare minipets, or delete one and sel then the 2ns with a much higher price due to the decreasement of the supply, but with a never changing demand, which either stays ever same or even RAISES, thus having more people, willing to pay for my rare min,, what ever i want for it, to become willing to sell it..makes no DIFFERENCE, especially when through dedications and deletions the supply got (will get someday) reduced to only 1 of those rare minipets either existing ingame or being the last undedicated one, that is of worth for collectors...
so for example.. if i own now theoretically the last 2 Kanaxais of atm ONLY 28 ones existing ingame (not drawing off now the unknown amount of those ones of them, which are dedicated, or got eventually deleted by griefing idiots)
so, and could sell theoretically then both for like 8000+ k
that would make 16+k ...
if i delete now one ,resulting in the fact that i will own then the absolute LAST kanaxai out of 28, then I can theoretically insta DOUBLE the price of the last existing kanaxai....because i as owner of the last kanaxai can choose then freely, for what a price I'm willing to sell it....because the demand behind the last kanaxai will be gigantic....people will pay whatever I want...
imagine only, how high the bids on an auction would go, if i would sell for example now the LAST existing undedicated Kanaxai .... the bids would so easily raise far much higher up, than 16k+..believe me ...or not... as far i personally believe you, that you are super rich, without bottign or gold buying at all

True, as is:
GWs players usually don't have the time to go to work for money to afford more campains/expansions.
Yes thats a bit of a drastic example, but you see my point? Prioritise, sometimes that 1 hour of farming has to be done. My hour yesterday was fantastic, btw.

They do, and Zashien chests and the HoH chest are ways to do that, albiet very poor ways to compensate, also see my statement above.
@Pheonix
Your economics lodgic is epic fail. Your ONCE IN A LIFETIME end all be of A ONE Reamining Mini does not set the standard for pricing, the ENTIRE GWs world would have to know A) that there is one left B) find out who has it C) have that person know they have it D) give a shit about it.

Then you buy the miniature to those that get them.
The point is that their number stays with a limited range. So new miniatures replace the used up ones, without filling the market with too much of the most rare ones.

/sign if ONLY with the following:
Zaishen keys are customize. To prevent "UBER RICH" players to start buying 1000k keys or more, since 1000+ keys is only bout 3 mil or so, and a kanaxai would worth more. Customized Zaishen keys would lead players to "earn" their keys and chance to get a rare mini. This would make it even rarer.
A rare mini would get out every 6 months is a good time.
/notsign if anything else.

I don't know about you, but when I turn on Guild Wars, I don't want it to feel like "work". If I want that, I'll do overtime at my real job, at least I'll get paid there.

I bolded the key part. It isn't required. You do it because you choose to. If playing this game for 10 years isn't enjoyable, then why play it. If you aren't enjoying the challenge, they why do you want to collect everything? Collecting everything is by definition an extra and unneccassary challenge.
It is like me and my drunkard title. People say it is usless. Or a waste of money. Or time. But I want it, so I do it. If you want the proverbal "it", but don't want to actually want to do "it," then why are you doing it in the first place.

If you want to make your PvE guys PvP ready, then you have to be willing to pay for it. GW already allows you to make PvP characters.

Maybe if you lowered your prices, you'd get easy sells. There's ALMOST ALWAYS someone who wants Zaishen Keys if you check between Temple, Kamadan, and LA, usually for 2-2.5k each.

Again, why do you need money? You can get all your skills and runes through balthazar's faction. Having a pimped PvE character is a privilege, not a right. I hate PvP elitists who think they should have it all

whats real funny is that the guy who created this thread sounds like a comunist LOL, u want everything to be equal like and mini-pets easier attainable...i went from rags to riches easily, why because i know how to farm and manipulate the game...its not hard, yea i wish i had a panda or some uber rare minis but instead of complaining about it, i work at it and everyday im a little bit closer. If you really want to put this into context u can think of the game as a capitalist society. There are different social classes: poor, middle, and upper classes. AND some ppl get lucky and hit the "lottery" so to say, BTW anet has had a contest recently which released ALOT of rare minis to random players, ZOMG keep something rare in the game, something when u finally get it, u feel accomplished. FYI not all rich ppl in the game are gold buyers and dupers or whatever u wanna call them only a select few ROFL^^ not naming any names, but you know who you are lol, random contests FTL
