Areas grant norn/vanguard/asuran points. Dwarven are only found in dungeons. Go vanquish. Go.

Each dungeon has a certain reward:
Catacombs of Kathandrax Vanguard
Rragar's Menagerie Vanguard
Cathedral of Flames Vanguard
Ooze Pit Dwarf
Darkrime Delves Norn
Frostmaw's Burrows Norn
Sepulchre of Dragrimmar Dwarf
Raven's Point Norn
Vloxen Excavations Dwarf
Bogroot Growths Asura
Bloodstone Caves Dwarf
Shards of Orr Asura
Oola's Lab Asura
Arachni's Haunt Asura
Slavers' Exile (elite) Norn
Fronis Irontoe's Lair Dwarf
Secret Lair of the Snowmen Dwarf
Heart of the Shiverpeaks Dwarf
Why not make the Beacons let choose between the Dwarven and the Reputation given as a reward in that dungeon?
For example, in Catacombs of Kathandrax beacons you could get Vanguard bounties. Once you choose one of the two (Dwarven or Vanguard) you'll stick with it for the rest of the dungeon until the next time you enter.
In Dungeons where the reward is dwarven, there would bo no choice. Only Dwarven.

I think that 100 per dungeon is too little. Maybe 500? Or 750, so in Hard Mode it would be 1,5k. Wouldn't be too much, as farming in 30 minutes is still easier and faster than a dungeon. And yields much much more reputation.

At the time when this was suggested that wasn't the case though.

heres how i see it.
titles are meant to be worked for not meant to be easy to achieve or all the same difficulty. and having a "secret lair of snowmen" for each title would make all the titles basically the same, in working for it, as well as the difficulty. so enjoy the fact they gave u an easy title already.

Killing snowmen is fun at first but gets boring very quickly. I personally wouldn't want to keep doing it for all GW:EN title tracks. The reward of an area is supposed to match the environment. What does a Norn or Eban guard have to do with dungeons? You're in the little guys world, take their reward or stay above ground.
If you could choose your reward so many people would just go to the not so secret lair of the snowmen. This wouldn't be great IMO.
Grinding out the titles are OK for one char. There is no way I'd do it for more than one though. Are titles that important?

I could see this happening. I mean, with GW2 not going to be out until 2009; they have to add more content to keep people interested.

I need easier ways for Asuran and Vanguard, I know I will vanquish eventually and that will probably end up giving me r10 on them all but I would prefer to have my rep points finished without grinding before vanquishing.

with HM books you can max out a title a day, easily.
Norn point farming is really easy too although its only about 5k/hour its easy as hell.
I agree that Asuran and Vanguard are a tad more frustrating but then again getting r5 which is what most people want for their armor is a joke these days. So the only people really complaining are the title hunters which cba to dedicate a single day for a title?

i dont think they created the dungeons for rep points, i think they created them in an attempt to match the difficulty of FoW and UW but instead of shards and ectos are the grand prize, its the shot for some rare and new weapons. Pathetic it may be, but come on, the explorable areas were meant to get rep points and progress to rank 10 in everything, thats why the bounties are out there in the first place. The rep you get from the dungeons is just a little extra incentive to go.

Id disagree - they added titles and armor/weapons you need a certain rank to obtain so titles are needed in a way - otherwise it would end up like prophs etc where a lvl 3 chr can access max armor from say droks easily. You have to "grind" for titles ( funny how anet states gw has no title grinding ) and then you got title skills that work better at high ranks.
Its a catch 22 situation where you want a skill but have to work for it - bit like ss and lb skills.
As for incentive to go into dungeons - pah , i had eotn on release and didnt really bother with it till over a yr later and even now ive only done maybe 3 or 4 dungeons and i have no incentive to enter the others.Uw/Fow is different as you dont need incentive to enter - ectos/shards are a bonus in 1 aspect but a requirement in another aspect for Fow armor but also ectos needed for eotn armor as well. But apart from skills ( and consumables which i dont use ) eotn has nothing that brings you into other places like fow.
The pros and cons could go on for ages as most players know and state their own pro`s/cons - eotn is a challenge but also a pain but thats my opinion.

Due to the current situation in Guild Wars itself, several people have been seen posting replies to threads stating that users might as well not make suggestions for Guild Wars: 1 because ArenaNet will likely not take any notice, or implement anything else. Sardelac Moderators would like to remind you that this is a place for discussion, and to share ideas, regardless of how likely they are to be implemented in GW:1.

From the rules.
Carry on.
