Then you are the only one to blame and Anet shouldn't have to adjust the game for your mistakes. However, I do hope that Gaile stumbles over this again and then gets it implemented, I have a few names to swap and one to kill ... if this feature is enabled.

Also make a feature to change your primary profession, change the armor you're wearing (cross-profession), change your sex... Seriously, if you're not happy with the name of your toon it's your fault and nobody's else, if you haven't had the creativity the first time I doubt you will get any better the next time :P

I think they have another way to identify your character. I deleted a prophecy version of a char and remade the char in factions with the same name. Customized items and stuff was for the previous char and not the new one so I think it should not be too hard a change.

PS. I was in a group with a common name. The group has disbanded and I would like to change that common name to something else. I would hardly ever change my character names as they are part of the persona.

I'm still waiting for this patiently, but after all these years my Necro's name which makes no sense by the way is starting to grow on me and if they intoduce this feature, I don't think I will be changing his name anymore.
