Disco Balls, more like DEVIL BALLS
Fireworks are fun. AT FESTIVAL TIMES.
Crates of fireworks for Guild halls are ok too. Fun for the whole family.
But Fireworks in Kamadan, Lions arch and Kaineng Center forever for the rest of eternity is PAINFUL.
I now have a permanent twitch whenever I see fireworks. I grit my teeth and start abusing small children at IRL events.
I'm perma banned from Chinese new year parades.
So please anet, make the disco balls a guildhall only item like the crates. Or change them so that rather then summoning a fireworks display, they summon a disco ball above the character that activated it, just like the Dervish dance emote.
It's bad enough I have nightmares of Yeti tonics screaming at my face p_____p

I suggest you play less gw or spend more time doing things outside towns :P.

I guess they should also give us a summon we can use in town for backup dancers and maybe something to give us the divine aura as well?
No.
If you are hurting kids and constantly having nightmares about the game, it might be time to take a break and seek some professional help.

I do have to agree that seeing fireworks in every damned outpost can be plain out annoying.
"Ok, let's hop to this outpost to grab a quest and--"

"AAAAAAAARGHHHHHH"
I couldn't escape the fireworks yesterday >.>

This thread does not deliver!
I was expecting a post on how the dances of the C3 guys are too gay (hence "devils balls" instead of "disco balls") for a game like this and how you want them removed.
That would entertain me, this does not.
Once again,
This thread does not deliver!

Ok, this thread is creepy. I suggest this: Take a break. I play for 2 hours MAXIMUM each day. Sometime more sometimes less, but the average time I play a day is about 1 and a half hours, as i finish school very early.

Because you know, I'm been TOTALLY SERIOUS about been mentally impaired by sparkles.
Secondly, deviant, A disco ball item is much less elaborate then filling a whole outpost with fireworks. It's annoying enough trying to do anything in Spamadan, let alone flood us with fireworks, random tonic moaning and the odd snowman summoner storm.
All I ask is that you keep it out of the public outposts. A fireworks display is too loud and annoying to have playing every time you enter a town.

I love that you can use disco balls in any outpost. It will make the next community party that much better. We will be able to keep fireworks going. I have already started saving stuff up for a community event. Have just over 100 disco balls and red candy...

Try going to the international districts, that's where I go and they are virtually fireworks free!

mute button.Turn down volume,or maybe even listen to some music while playing.
Yea why should people be allowed to have fun just because it upsets you.
I myself like to use it while trying to buy or sell stuff.
Just like everything else that might be nerve wrecking I am sure if you try hard enough you can find away to live with it.

Right, so this is not really going to go anywhere. You've said your piece, which is basically a rant, something that's not allowed anyway. And the trolls are starting to come out.
So, to save you from yourself - closed.
