Make Guild Halls Move Alive
I'd like to see my guild hall have more activity to it. Guild Hall can get kind of busy when everyone's on but, only before everyone heads off to do whatever it is that tickles their fancy. Wandering around a guild hall, especially away from the guild lord, makes you feel like you're Will Smith wandering around Manhatten in I Am Legend. It's empty.
I'd like to see some NPC's wandering around or something. Guild Hall guards, maybe some sailors on the boat or a guy or two fishing on the dock maybe even heroes scattered around or something... anything to make the guild hall more interesting.

That would be nice, but then it would just seem more crowded at the central point. The point of a guild hall is for GvG, and the main point of being able to explore all of it basically allows you to scout out your GH and see what effects and stuff happen where in it.

I like it. More random NPCs out in the boonies of the guild halls would be kind of nice.

You can't really see the effects of the map when just wandering around, and the NPCs obviously won't be there when you go into a skirmish.
So I'd say /signed

Yea. Maybe it could be a thing where people can "unlock" mini's or heroes that roam around the GH when someone zones it. There would be absolutely no point to it save to have activity in the GH and Anet could even charge Guild's to have a "minipet/hero register" person. It would be guild-wide and just for fun. But like always, GW2..
/sign for more GH improvements

I like this idea.
It would be really nice if they would add a few NPC's here and there that just wander around and serve the same purpose as all those other miscellaneous NPCs all over the rest of the game. It would make the world (or the GH at least) feel much more alive.
/Signed.

/signed for random people and decorations during events, even if it's just a simple tree (during wintersday, for example).

Guild Halls may contain lots of guild member models, so as long as the extra NPCs disappear when a lot of players enter the Guild Hall, I'm fine with that.

I think I've actually suggested this myself way back o.o I suggested:
Random NPC's being purchaseable to walk around Hall's.
The NPC's should be following:
Frozen Isle: Deldrimor Dwarfs.
Warriors Isle: Zaishen.
Hunter's Isle: Krytans.
Wizard's Isle: Ascalonians.
Nomad's Isle, Isle of the Dead, Burning Isle: Ghosts.
Druid's Isle: Shining Blade.
Isle of Meditation: Canthans.
Imperial Isle: Canthan Nobles.
Isle of Weeping Stone: Kurzicks.
Isle of Jade: Luxons.
Corrupted Isle, Isle of Wurms: Maddened Ghosts.
Uncharted Isle: Sunspears.
Isle of Solitude: Vabbians.

Wow, I'm surprised by all the positive input. Thank you. I've given this more consideration and would like to add that it would be great if such npc's were buyable at the guild lord for a small amount - a few K per or something. This way the addition of such npc's wouldn't impact people such as Empress Amarox, who stated above that she got her guild hall for the specific purpose of not being bothered with such npc's.

Absolutely.
I also wouldn't be opposed to having more activity around the Guild Hall, but it would be nice if they served some purpose.

Make it alive, even something like the menagerie. Walking around the zoo is pretty, but it's the living animals that give it that extra touch. A few animals and npcs would make a guildhall much more lively.

/signed. Thats a good idea for people such as empress so they can opt not to have the npcs.
