Not a bad idea. Remove F5-F8. make F9 show all bags, but make them expandable.

Alllow to quick link consumables too, and I'm in.
It's a pain to open the bags when I want to gobble a drink to keep maxed the PvE drunken skill effects.

There are few cases where you would need more than four sets. One for each damage type shield is not the case. Shields should be swapped in the very beginning of the match, where you determine what is the main source of the opponents' damage. That shield (for the most part) stays to be that damage type. I've only come across a handful of bars out of the many I have played that would benefit from more than one set. The tombs Lingering Curse necromancer with Consume Corpse + snares is probably one of the few, since you would benefit from:
Shield Set
40/40 Curse
Curse High Set
40/40 Earth
20/40 Death Staff for Consume Corpse
I'm not against this; in fact, it would be pretty nice, but it has very limited applications. You guys are overemphasizing these needs.

I think most monks could benefit from:
low set
high set
enchant set
+slashing/fire/lightning/cold
-cripple set
depending on what kind of monk, they could also use both
fast cast heal/prot sets
or just one of those sets.
As an axe warrior, I know I would like 5-6 sets for.
Ebon
Vamp
Zealous
Spear
Flatbow
and sometimes, 40/40 curse for rip enchant
For hammer
Ebon
Sundering/vamp
Zealous
Spear
Flatbow
high set for deathpact.
I think a lot of classes would benefit greatly from this. At least I wouldn't have to keep reopening my item window to switch manually..

Most monks should play with their inventories open.
Well, smart monks that know the workings of Guild Wars, anyway.

(by the way, Death Pact doesn't benefit from a high set anymore. It was changed a long time ago.)

Woooooooow @ DPS
Also, wouldn't having more weapon slots mostly eliminate the need for keeping your inventory open all game? What's the point if not to switch weapons constantly?
