Here's a rather simple suggestion to make JQ less of a waiting game: Change the faction given out to be Kurzick and Luxon for winning.
For example: Kurzicks win 10-5. Kurzick players get 3500 Kurzick Faction and 3500 Luxon Faction. Luxon Players get 1250 Luxon Faction only. Since you lose one faction when trading in the other there will be no change to the 'game economy.'
I personally do not care about the lore or story involved, I'd just as soon kill a Juggernaut as cast Make Haste on it. I do hate waiting for 3-8 minutes AT LEAST EVERY MATCH. If a player could go join the Luxon side, get in quickly, and still get Kurzick faction it sure would help them move the titles along.
EDIT: My original idea was to join on either side and get end faction for both to shorten wait times on Kurzick side. A good alternative is given by tvalentijn below: "you could be in the Kurzick waiting area but get selected to play for the Luxon side since there are players needed on that side (and vice versa)" ... and still get either both KF and LF or at end get the faction which matches your guild's faction alliance.

*EDIT* nvm, understood now.
/notsigned, as I'm a lorefreak and this would be kinda weird in lore-aspect.

To be clear, OP means that you could be in the Kurzick waiting area but get selected to play for the Luxon side since there are players needed on that side (and vice versa).
Alternative solution to the faction issue: no matter what side you play on, you always get faction of the side your guild is. So even if you happen to be selected to play on the Luxon side, if your guild is Kurzick you would still get (only) Kurzick faction

Does absolutely nothing to fight the problem of leechers and botters, so I'd rather not.

...... you would get your own faction's points no matter what side you would play. It can't be that hard of a concept to grasp...

Because Kurzicks and Luxons have stopped fighting now that Shiro returned so faction is the same for both of them?......

Waiting time can be caused as well by the fact that there are not enough kurzicks up for the fight. If you 'improved' the JQ and left FA intact, situation would reverse. Both from lore and logical standpoint it doesn't make any sense as well.

In that case, why do we have two faction bars and two titles? I see where this idea is coming from, but I don't support it.

I had to read it a couple times before I understood what you were talking about(poorly written)
But after I did I think it would a be a decent idea.

Makes no sense. The purpose is to choose a side and fight to win that side's faction. With this suggestion, it removes that.
Plus, I would rather have the leechers and botters attended to first.

I played JQ on the Luxon side and finished the title.. I did notice on Luxon side I didn't wait at all. Now I am working on Kurz title and the wait time is horrible but I do work on the drunk title while waiting haha

why would you get kurzick faction for killing kurzicks, i assume you thought about that, a way to remove botters is to make a more complicated entry, as for leechers though you should be able to put your own team togther, enableing you to have no/or kick leechers

Lore goes out the window anyway with the fact that you can switch sides whenever the hell you want.
The purpose of this suggestion is to equalize the player numbers, by making wins count towards the faction you're working on no matter which side you're actually fighting for.

^^Yeah that^^
Sorry the post was poorly written, I revised it roughly 20 times trying to get the ideas in my head onto the screen hehe. This addresses the issue of kurzick players having to wait a minimum of 3 minutes, quite often 10 or more minutes, to get in to a match. <Insert link to Tom Petty The Waiting>
BTW can't work on drunk while waiting, been there and maxed that twice

I love this idea, if I'm playing JQ it's not because I have some desire to help imaginary Luxons or Kurzicks actually win their war against each other. I'll play because I like the game format, don't really care who I'm killing tbh.
Less waiting for all is something that I can get behind!
