Then play Team Arenas and ignore RA. That way you don't get rubbish players, you don't have to redo the sync if it's off (which may also aggrivate players assuming you leave), and you may come up against a decent team.

The funny thing is that the crybabies already ruined RA by getting dishonour and /report added into the game. Of course when someone keeps on getting random fail group after random fail group, they feel like quitting and syncing. Unless of course you are that annoying mending wammo or firestorm monk, and the person who then runs off QQing about quitters and syncers.
|
Then people who get pissed off will either move onto TA and not piss off people who are playing RA legitimately. Not everybody uses RA for gladpoints, but to chill out and unwind.

Then the bad player resorts to insulting better players by calling them wiki noobs or something bad for syncing. Maybe if you didnt suck so much yourself, then you would actually win? Maybe the reason why you lose a game is you, didnt you ever think about that? I myself am not bothered if I win or lose, but if you are then all you have to do is improve your skillbar, learn to play and maybe play a monk.

Syncing implies you've come prepared, with a team of coordinated players with decent builds. If you're against a sync team while not syncing yourself, you don't have the same coordination, you don't know what builds the other people have.
If you're referring to people who aren't that good and call it syncing just because they lost, then fair enough. It's not necesarily hard to tell if a team is syncing based on how well they communicate.

If you do control the party, you are not forming a random party (yeah, pretty obvious, but still there is VERY dense people out there).
If you really wanted ompetition, you would go to TA, instead going to RA, sync, and leave when you are sent to TA.
So, if you sync, is because you "can't stand Competition" in TA.
That is, people that sync, do so to find random parties with formed parties, to have the advantage of skill synergy and planification formed parties have over random parties.
So, don't come here saying that people that refuse sync do so because they can't play, because people that can play will go to Team Arenas and play, and those that can't will resort to sync to try gain some advantage over players than do not sync.
Anyone against removing sync is just afraid of losing their 'cheap gladiator points'. There is absolutely NO other reason.
Once they fix it, and they will, learn to play and deal with it.

Perfect fix to that statement.
My thoughts pretty much are the same there.
And people who "QQ" about "QQers" are just as bad. lol. There is a legitimate reason for the complaint, therefore it is not "QQing."
Sadly though, Anet doesn't seem to give a darn, so it's screwed.

Anet cares. In the wiki devs have stated that usage of heroes in GvG and HA, anti-random party formation by syncing and the HB issues are near the top of the priorities in their list.
Of course, them being able to address the issues is a different thing.

I am disappointed at how respectful these replies were.
I think the suggestion to remove glad points from RA is the best. If you set aside RA as casual players and TA as serious players, the casual players technically shouldn't get the same rewards as an organized team. I mean playing casually is great and all, but promoting some of the casual players to try more coordinated play is never a bad thing.

I love all the people here who are trying to defend syncing. I agree with the OP... if you can in any way make the people you play with not random, then it's an exploit. Because its' supposed to be random every time, RANDOM Arena. It is not Partly Random Arena, Maybe Random Arena, or even Sometimes Random Arena.
