Rollerbettle Racing keep for everday PvP
I think we should keep the racing for an everyday PvP battle to help ppl get their gamer title since that title is hard to get and limited and the racing is fun. i know that is a unique event to the festivals but if there were random maps and such that would be a new fun idea for pvp since the next concept update is for PvP what you all think?

Afking for rings and trying to do this = too much time
I afk the rings for about 2-3 days... only 1 day for the gaming(dragon arena and rollerbeetle racing)...

I'd prefer another way to get gamer; leaving rollerbeetle racing to events.

I agree with this, and think they should make Norn Brawling (with the brass knuckles) and polymock PvP-able. Random Arena-style 1v1 matches. norn brawling wouldn't have "stand up" and instead be best 2 out of 3.
also they should add a vanguard form of Hero Battles, where you fight as either charr or vanguard against someone else, using set builds (like costume brawl) but it could be like hero battles, so you pick who you want with you, and can flag them, tell them what to do, ect.
edit : also gamer title needs to freaking DO something. like maybe gain 2~5% more balthazar faction for every kill you make in pvp per rank in gamer title.

No, raising faction cap like every other PvP title is just fine.
I think it would be good to have more PvP style things, like Rollerbeatle and PvP Polymock.

I kind of want to keep roller beetle too. It has a lot of potential. And maybe add new maps too by recycling old ones.

this is a REALLY good idea but im sorry to say its to late with gw1, probably will do something with mini games in gw2 if it ever finishes, tbh i think gw2 is gunna do same thing as Duke Nukem Forever, if you dont know what this is, its a game that a company worked on for 10 year, 1999-2009, then they fired everyone workin on it & its not commin out, imo thats gw2, gettin postponed for so long

yeah but honestly increased cap is virtually the same as doing nothing. All it is... is promoting laziness, taking additional time before you get zkeys. That's it.

no, it'll only be like duke nukem forever if they release information every 1~5 years, showing less and less footage of actual gameplay, until eventually they don't even remember what game you're talking about.

The only reason rollerbeetle arena (and snowball, and costume brawl, and dragon) is fun is because it only comes every so often If it becomes an everyday thing it will end up being another empty arena. Anet knows that the format isn't strong enough to stand on its own, so they'd rather keep it enjoyed once a year rather than never used all year long.

They wouldn't even let Kaineng keep the events decorations, wich everyone agreed it was way better than the normal look. They'd have to be at gun point to let the rollerbeatle racings available all year round.

they could switch at certain time intervals (i.e. every week) between allowing people to use the dragon arena, costume brawl, rollerbeetle racing, and maybe even the snowball arena. this way, they might still hold the fun of coming around every once in a while, but still provide a viable way to get your gamer title. also, instead of providing things like victory tokens, they could just give things like 1-3 bronze zcoins per win.

RBR is such a drag. If you want to pick a festival game to be year-round, make it Costume Brawl.

yeah but duke nukem was started being made back when 3D graphics themselves were relatively new so everything looked like shit and was really easy to make. Nowadays it's expected for things to be /extremely/ realistic, hence it takes much longer to make.
