Make Keg of Hunter's Ale Stackable
if you use one, make that one unstack automatically in the inventory, and make the stack unusuable if there aren't enough spaces in your inventory.
edit:
Adding another explanation, since you people obviously do not know what is going on:
A STACK of Keg of Hunter's Ale would be:
250 Kegs of Hunter's Ale with 50 charges EACH.
If you use the stack, you end up with
249 Kegs of Hunter's Ale with 50 charges EACH and ONE Keg Of Hunter's Ale with 49 charges.
Was that really hard?

I see no problem with this, I never had kegs when I was doing booze.

Seriously. I keep getting them from Nick and they're taking up space.

Exactly. As Aresfrombe said, this really wouldn't work.
The only way it could is if you could "merge" ales together (shift click on one keg with 50 uses, then on another with 49, and get a new keg with 99). But since a mechanic like that has NEVER existed and would need to be done just for this... /notsigned Way too much effort to code. Just drink em (or sell em). Even if you get 5 kegs a week from the traveller, you still have enough time to drink them all before the next week.

Having the full items stackable is not a game-mechanics issue. They could make them stackable. And they could make Perfect Salvage Kits stackable too. Of course, when they're trying to get people to spend real cash on xunlai storage space, there's a bit of a disincentive to make such an improvement.
A few days ago I sold a "keg party package" on the guru auction section. It consisted of 3 full kegs for 44k.

Making them each be their own item was a stupid idea when we already have a number of other ales that give a full five minutes. Allowing them to be stackable would be very sensible.

Keg's must be made stackable. It's annoying as hell.

Game mechanics , even its the same item a 19 uses keg cant be stacked with some that havent been used yet. Its like weap mods , cant stack em because a 20/20 is not the same than a 20/19 . Cant make em stackable without changing that. ...

The OP said that the one that was a different number would automatically unstack.
I.E. you have two stacked 50 use kegs and a full inventory, you can't use one because it would unstack and you have no space.

Again though, they would have to completely change how items are stored... just for this one obscure item. It's not going to happen.

It's not like someone has 50 kegs of ale. Seriously... sell them or something.

Each "Item" has charges in it.
A "stack" is a stack of SINGLE items which perform one single task. Therefore, a stack of items with charges, simply dosen't work if you can stack them with different charges into one item and expect to break them down again back to normal.
Say you have a dying salvage kit and throw another on top of it, use a charge then throw another on top of it, use a few, throw another on top.. you are going to have screwed up kits if you ever expect to break them down into original items again. It probably won't work.
It sounds like an extremely bad file fragmentation nightmare on a hard drive.

Alternate suggestion to solve the mechanics problem: Create a collector who will convert 5 kegs of ale into one barrel of ale, which has 250 uses. Perhaps with a 100g fee.
Yes it introduces a new item, but it seems like it would be easier than trying to get the stacking thing to work.

I say just leave it alone at this point. Some things can be suggested and easily implemented and other cannot. We already got so many good addons to guildwars since release just enjoy.

Too much coding hassles, especially when pretty much all the programmers has moved onto GW2

I think all max charge items should be stackable, including runes and insignias. Using an item from such separate it from rest of the stack.
OT: I think 50-charge Kegs should stack, while 1-49 charge would not.
