Excellent idea. Proper power distribution to the right people is what guilds need.. not give everyone one of two differing powers. There are just some people you'd trust with recruiting but not with promoting, it's common sense to be able to customize what powers different officers have. /signed all the way to the Halls of Dis

This or add another layer of command (Council maybe?) and have it so Officers can recruit but can't abuse their position by kicking members etc (only Council members and Leader can do that)

I think it would be funner if there were simply more ranks within a guild. Leader, Officer, and Member are just so limited. Throw in a few more ranks, like Captain, Seargent, or even Recruiting Officer, or something similar. Then give different ranks different powers. This would be a lot more fun, and would make the Guild part of Guild wars more important in my opinion

Funner is not a word. And at this stage in the game, there is not enough responsibility in a guild to add more levels. The 5 or so items in the picture are about all the responsibilities an officer has. If we get more options in the guild such as items relating to guild storage or guild hall customization, then maybe we could use some more levels. In my opinion this would just be easier.

Pardon me spelling police for being excited and incorrectly using a word. Regardless, I still think multiple levels would be awesome. Why is there not enough responsibility in a guild to have more ranks? You need to clarify where you are coming from on this point. My guild has been around for ages, and never had we once had any responsibility issues. We all think it would be fun to add more diversity to the guild options. Guild storage is a bad idea, unless you can choose who has access to storage. Regardless, I think it would simply be better to expand personal storage. Guild Hall custimization is a good idea, but I can't see it being implemented. But it would be nice to have a merchant and other traders in the guild hall.

Per officer indeed. Not that I don't trust the newer officers that I promote, but I would rather see how they act in a higher position of power before giving them all of the responsibilities of said position.

What i mean is, what can an officer now really do? They can invite memebers, promote members, and kick members. Thats about it. Now when we add a new level, what do we get?
Officer__________________Seargent/General
Invite Members___________Kick memebers/officers
Promote Members_________Promote Officers
Now doesn't that seem silly? To divide an already low amount of responsibility into even less. Thats why I don't think adding a new level will work.
And no one here said anything about not wanting to add more diversity to the game. I personnally don't see how adding a new guild level is more "diverse". You've basically just created a level to do half of what an officer can do already.
Also, it has already been confirmed that we will have some type of guild storage and guild hall customization, so thats why I said that it could be another responsibility.
