Whispers Merchant
I realize that this has probably been suggested before, but I searched and did not find the thread, so I'm doing a remake of a lost one.
Yes, I'm talking about the Domain of Angiush. Doing a full run, which means all the areas at once, which are the City of Torc'qua, the Stygian Veil, Ravenheart Gloom, and the Foundry of Failed Creations, the number of drops you have to leave behind is overwhelming. If you went back and looked at what everyone left, you'd be buried in it.
At the start of every area are two figures. A questgiver, and a bountygiver, both from the Order of Whispers. My suggestion is to implement a Whispers Merchant to those two. Seriously, he'd make a killing out there. And no, it wouldn't make DoA too profitable, compared to what it already is. An extra plat per run won't make a noticable difference in overall profit, but it saves all these wasted drops.
Our inventory just isn't big enough to handle an area like this. Not even with maxamized bags and pouches. And no, separating the areas and doing them one at a time isn't a viable option, since if you do all four at once, you get more gemstones from the chests, versus doing them one at a time and only getting one gemstone per run, not including the chance drop of one for you.
It wouldn't hurt anything, only help. So, signed, or not signed? But if not signed, please tell us all why.
Thank you.

I hate leaving drops behind. 30 gold for a collectable is still 30 gold... That is like working for 10 hours, but only getting payed for 9 (taxes excluded of course).

I don't think bots could handle DoA as of yet, which is why this was the only place I suggested it.

I wish every area had a merchant.
It would also be a good idea for them to make all the drops nobody takes apear in the unclaimed drops window which only sometimes appears.

/signed good idea. Though I agree would should have more merchants in more areas. Some missions are huge and you end up losing alot of stuff.

I don't think this would present a problem when it comes to gold farmers, since there are areas that will give a faster pure profit without as much effort.

Pretty much my philosophy.
I would like to see this added to UW as well. Not really needed for a farming run, but it is for a clear group (would request for FoW, but forgemaster works good enough on that already).

Why waste the drops? Just bring along several salvage kits...

Sure, I'll pay 2k every two runs for a new salvage kit to make less profit off of white items anyway, versus simply adding a needed NPC.

Making profit off of the items versus none at all (i.e. by not picking up drops) seems smarter...
I don't mind the suggestion...I'm just pointing out that NO ONE should have any "wasted drops" if they were intelligent (or not lazy).

It's either waste drops or waste salvage kits. With this addition, neither would have to take place.

/signed. I'd love to see a merchant here (and a few in the 3+ level dungeons as well)
Although, I must agree with Jetdoc. I always bring salvage kit in there. I picked up ALL of my drops on the full run we did last week. I salvaged all the white ones and once we were done, I picked everyone else's white and blue drops too. Again, I salvaged all white ones as I went and finally left with a full inventory of blue+ items and about 10 slots of mats.
Hey, it's DOA. You need the mats for consumables anyways.

Seems like a fair point, there is a merchant in FoW which is another elite area, so it makes sense to have one here too.
