Sofar no sollution for :
- why have player skillbar if mount replaces this skill bar... would it matter to have 2 skillbars ?!

- What happens to the mount if you unmount to fight, does it run off / disappear, will it be fighting alongside you just like a pet does now.

- Would this then mean Ranger with pets get to have 2 pets ?
* tho in a persistant world traveling alone sounds like a silly thing to do in the first place (unless on is realy fast) ... and in group fighting there is always some imbalance (2 groups of 8 vs 1 group of 8 for example) this with or without mounts btw ... would this matter...

Mounts could have a +/- effect, where you sacrifice something in one area to gain something in another.

Don't they already have mounts, with the Wurms and those huge scorpion-like things in that place I'd guess that looks like where Little House On The Prairie takes place?

True, but those are in an explorable area, if you add those to a persistant world (ak. GW2) the waiting lines would get silly... for GW1 i would say there are indeed mounts and GW1 doesnt realy need mounts to travel, and even for storrage they arent realy needed, which leaves for fighting, and those are allready in the game...
