Not enough resources to happen, but I hate when people say that.
I think it'd be nice, and adding more missions to the BMP would be a nice thing

Yeah, male Mhenlo and female Cynn armour ...
I don't really get it why stupid NPC's have better armour art than the players ... pff.

many games already do this; separate "armour" equipment from "fashion" equipment. personally i could care less... but i bet if this was implemented, it'll be obtainable only through the in-game store with real $$$ like in other games with their cash shops and fashion items. i could see it happening if anet wanted to push the micro-transactions model even further than it is now. of course, this would have to be retro-active with festival hats, so we can finally wear them in combat. the festival hats as well is the "fashion items" would be restricted to pve-only as to not disrupt what really matters in gw (pvp). but hey, if it makes anet money, and pve'rs happy...then sure why not.

sounds too maplestory ish to me, i think they would be better off just making the NPC armor player usable and add a crafter sumwhere(maybe one for ea campaign?).
id like to see Cynn's, NPC Kurzicks, Anton variant, white mantle.

I love how people who don't design games or know everything that's going on with Anet can tell what can't and won't happen.

I would certainly like some of the armor available on NPCs, but don't expect to see any armor added this late in the game. If they did add armor, I'd want them, to add more for the 4 classes from Factions and Nightfall as they don't have as many options as the core classes do.

Personally i would rather have the posibility to put 2e profession Insignas on my 1e profession armor, so i can finally do something about elemental (esp. fire) on my N/R, with some ranger Insigna's... And/or some knee reinforcements so i can do something about knockdowns :P ...
Instead of just more pretty armor, this aside from the under armored Faction and nightfall classes ... so yes for the idear, but a No for nescessity ... there is this beta armor piece i would love to see in GW1 though *whistles*rollseyes*

You want to check the Dev tracker section? Btw I bet you don't either. I don't know the exact number of the members of that team, but I'll tell you what, no new content is getting added anytime soon, and I bet my bottom dollar, so before you go off opening your mouth, think before you speak.

I'd rather they focus on the glaring balance issues that still exist in the game: perma SF, ER healers, and dervishes.

Last I heard, about five, including Regina and not including any artists - what little new art has come in since the BMP has been from Linsey making puppy-eyes at the GW2 artists while they were on break.

And, for the record... Seven. Linsey (designer), Joe (programmer), Regina and Martin (community relations), and Mike, Andrew and Leah (QA).

Cynn armor please....
And I wonder how Talon Silverwing's armor would look on a warrior, if even possible.

Gwen's armour is my personal favourite! I'd love to have that to wear though, not just as a cosmetic thing.
More armour is never a bad thing.

You're telling me (someone who doesn't make up information about how something isn't possible) to think before speaking? That's backwards. It doesn't matter what I know, because I never claimed what was possible and what wasn't.

It was actually not for me but:
Read the Sardelac Guidelines:
10. "It'll Never Happen!"
Due to the current situation in Guild Wars itself, several people have been seen posting replies to threads stating that users might as well not make suggestions for Guild Wars: 1 because ArenaNet will likely not take any notice, or implement anything else. Sardelac Moderators would like to remind you that this is a place for discussion, and to share ideas, regardless of how likely they are to be implemented in GW:1.
So next time please read the rules first. At the moment you are just trollling and nothing else.
At OP. I do not like the idea. Even the prophecies armor sets have issues. Possibility of mixing armours is not the reason of the problem. You can have one set and still something will be wrong - mostly when you are wearing a cape. I think if they fix the capes and how they "float" when you move most of the issues with armor will disappear. I think more issues will come with your idea than actual utility.

I'm all for new armour, as long as each piece involves a similar process to getting a BMP weapon - ie, complete a fun mission.
As opposed to some really expensive armour that requires heavy grinding to obtain. Believe it or not, some people actually think it's a good idea to include things like that in a game!
