Default Block Wars: [How can it be changed to better suit PvP?]

As the title implies! I think that too much blocking bogs down gaming and is quite mindless. What do you all think about the current "blocking" trend?

I'll kick it off with my suggestion: I think that all non-elite forms of blocking should be reduced to 50% [I know block stances like distortion would probably need special attention so as not to create imbalance], leaving elite blocking stances to outshine the rest of the regular stances.

Aegis, Ward Melee, Lightning Reflexes (45s) and LoD reverts. Then teams will actually have to run shutdown again and can't just power through everything. Along with a BSurge revert (back to single target), Anet can start again from the end of 2007 rebalancing skills, and maybe they will actually do it right this time.

Increasing the recharge on Mind Blast slightly would also help fix that template, since the only thing wrong with it is the insane amount of energy it has to spam secondary skills and Rodgorts.

Yes, I am aware playing warrior was a nightmare at the end of 2007. Get a decent midline and it's not that big of a problem.

Not a big gvg person, but as far as HA goes, its just plain annoying..in HA theres pretty much 3 types of builds out Sway-Balanced-Antisway

Most antisway is either a hexway or a team with a ton of block leading to more blockage and longer matches. I'm not gonna say blocking needs a nerf, sway teams are easy enough to get down, but those ranger assassins...really? take it back up to 1 second attack time instead of 1/2 please...id like to be able to run a group in HA without facing sway the first 5 maps

This was, in my opinion, the best time to play a warrior aside from back during gale/sig. It really differentiated between the terrible warriors and those that could get things done. It certainly was the most fun meta since factions released.
