just as the titles states

would be nice to have this so everytime i feel like watching a movie
or listening to music while i afk for watever reason i dont have to
slide those 5 stupid bars up and down

There's a check box that says "Mute while Guild Wars is in the background."

So unless you have GW in the foreground when watching a movie, that should suffice.

Well, that works when GW is in the background, but not when you want to mute all volumes to hear music while you play.
So the suggestion is still valid... but already suggested quite some times.

Oh yeah.. that's true. Good point.

I guess Anet is just going to have to implement some sort of volume control in-game. Oh wait.. they *do* have volume control in-game! How convenient! (yes, I know I'm a jerk)

I never had any problems sliding the bars myself. I always look at it as extra exercise for my wrist.
