Also, angry guru'ers, relax.

How about giving heroes the ability to use the pve only skills which we unlock?

I can see where some of you might go with this, if we give them pve skills its gonna be overpowered and pve is already broken blah blah blah.

Right now, we have something called hero way, which is basically 3 necros or 3 rits, and it basically owns any other hero configuration you could think of.

Giving heroes pve only skills would make necro way stronger, but it would also open up the door for alot more possibilites for ppl that hate goths (sarcasm).

It's kinda like how a skill update brings interest back into the game cus it give ppl the chance to be creative again, letting heroes have pve only skills will give us alot more to do right now, it would be fun.

How hard would it be for anet to do this? Well, giving the heroes access to the skills wouldnt be that hard, they would have what ever rank we do for each skill. The harder part would be programming in the hero ai for each pve skill, which is probably the biggest thing that would stop anet from doing this, besides QQ'ers.

Make it so each hero can only equip one PvE skill...maybe...

Personally, I'd rather see PvE skills set on a more even plain to promote diversity. There's a huge power disparity between most of them.

just by reading the title of your thread i can tell your trolling

there is nothing in this game, that is difficult with heroes/henchman
they don't need any buffs

and the thought of pve skills on heroes, that gave me a good morning laugh, thanks.

Heroes should be able to use every skill players can. And use their controlling player's title as a means to determine how strong it is. The only people against this are bitter PUG scrubs who're mad at us good players for not helping their sorry asses through PvE.

This change would make the game so easy. It isnt hard now but with the added skills it would be insane. A person could most likely play AFK except for moving the toon. Just let the heroes do all the work, just sounds like more laziness.

mah point is the game is already mind numbingly lazy with heroes, its called necros. Maybe other heroes would become possible with this?

Heroes may be too dumb to effectively use many builds, but they have several advantages, such as incredible reaction time, easy customizability, ability to target anything with ease, less time spent creating parties, etc.

I wouldn't mind 7 hero parties or allowing henchmen into elite areas and that sort of thing, but PvE-only skills are one of the primary reasons to use a human over a hero.

I can see why someone would want this, but... /notsigned

LOL at "other heroes would become possible". They already are. I can't even remember the last time I brought more than one necro hero with me, and it's not like he's abusing rit heals or anything in the process, just a straight MM.

I see where you're coming from, sabway is ridiculously overpowered in pve. I wouldn' t mind seeing different heroes being used. However I don't think every PVE only skill should be available to Heroes, maybe only a couple specific to each character. For example Jora gets Ursan (DUH), Vekk gets something like Technobabble or some other Asura skill (pain inverter would be too overpowered on a hero). Koss and other early nightfall get sunspear rank skills, so on and so forth. That's my opinion anyways.

I`m thinking about 4 (human player + 3 heroes) pain inverters.. Unless all four get spammed on same target, everything will blow up in seconds. Difference between nm and hm would be none. But, then again, you could form a party of 8 human players with each one packing PI..
Pain Inverter is so powerful that it deserves the status of Elite skill. Current state of the game considered, there is little that can be done that will further deteriorate it. 7 heroes, pve skills on heroes.. who cares, point of no return has been passed light years ago, so why the heck not?

I'm assuming that heroes would use your own title rank for their PvE skills (obviously they won't grind their own). But running around with 4 max copies of Ebon Assassin Support for a quarter of the related grind sounds a little cheap to me.

Not. This is why they're heroes, not characters. If they could use every skill why would they be following us instead of following them? Players should always be more powerful than their followers.
