To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

That is, AFTER joining a battle, players should be given a RANDOM set of skills (i.e potentially different for each player so as to discourage builds of the day) and then have to build a bar from what they have (maybe with a trading option inside teams included). A big part of the fun of sealed deck play in CCG formats is the fact that you DON'T have a lot of time to build something and that you're not facing an opponent with basically the same decks. In CA currently, after a few hours the teams tend to be basically the same setup with basically the same bars.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of CA a lot, I just think that certain things could have been implemented to make it a much more enjoyable experience than the current "high end PvPers farming inexperienced players" format we got.

Sealed deck would be random skill bar, not random set of skills a day that sets a meta. Random Bars<Daily Meta.

on topic: /notsigned, people abuse 1v1(RR,/roll,shrine tanking,pvp formats should be left to Player Vs Player(no heroes, they are just as abusive.)

And I can see the general feel is it wouldn't work. However a lot of people seem to want a Random Codex Arena (thoughts on that will be my next post) which is interesting.
