1. I'd give it two months before assessing the success of the change.
2. I'd waste time on balancing the game, than countering the imbalance.

Your ideas are pretty decent, not sure about the skills and such but something along those lines would be interesting!

My idea aswel, Look at Dhuum in UW this isnt only a answer to make things harder. It gives us a lot of fun again to. back to basic ballanced teams or random to kill end bosses. Very nice indeed. Killing a skill wont give us more fun. Giving us more god bosses will.

It's pretty obvious that if FoW gets a boss, it would be Menzies.
And there is not much to think about him, it would be something similar to Balthazar, in the same manner Grenth has an animal skull on his head, but Dhuum is basically a walking skeleton. Since menzies controls the Shadow army, we should be a tall guy with black armor surrounded by black flames and shadows instead red flames.
And of course his skills would be all about armies and war. If he pretends to take Balthazar's seat, he must prepare himself for the job.

Menzies =Paragon Boss
Close to warrior, but intrested in leading armies.
Boss area, could be a battle area. Like a refitted alliance battle fort with Menzies taking the role of Siege leader. (vision of Lord of Destruction D2 intro)

No they don't...nothing has invaded their realm, what reason would we have to go there?
And we don;t have a single idea what Menzies may look like, but a paragon with a warrior style armor and as already stated, black armor, shadows and maybe some fire.

Anet shouldn't add any new content because it'll just cause more glitches and disconnects.
See Dhuum as example.

A big shadow who is a necromancer boss... he looks like dead himself and scares alot of people. The skills he have aren't invincible but not too easy (easier than dhuum). A god

Great Idea!
Maybe put the "end-boss" of FoW in that kinda fire thingy where the End-Chest spawns. That you are in there and that the doors shut if you are going to kill it (Same as like Dhuum. You just go to an room).
Tho i dont like the :"Cannot hex him". So you wanna say now that mesmers are useless against him?
The other things are just fine for me. Would be fun if there are some more of the Menzies guards groups patrolling in the areas

I think i got a good idea for the plot. Instead of a chain just make it an end boss. Have it where the eternal forgemaster is. Then when everyone completes the quests and about to go to him through a door... cutscene triggers. Doors Close....
Forgemaster says,"You will not get away of this Menzies!"
(leader),"We will put you back you you came from"
something of that matter. The cutscene will make everyone teleport there... so no afkers that can stay alive and get chest afterwords. Have it like menzies took the forgemaster hostage and wants to escape to the real world again aka dhuum without the kidnapping and news coverage
2 cents.

FoW defo needs something similar, albeit a different approach and setup to Dhuum.
The current SC setups will obviously change
And the bugs with Dhuum obviously need fixing. Its a nice way to teach new members when he gets stuck lol but we had him in less than ten minutes in HM the other night when he got stuck on a pillar. He was even still stuck there after the chest spawned lmao (just wait for me to actually get something worth keeping first lol)

Make a realm and it will be invaded
I want to see something to happen to menzies aswell. Menzies is like not important or any difficult to kill. I mean he is a god (isn't he).
OverPower menzies Anet c'mon. Bring live in FoW give a God some Monster skills

There is a HUGE battlefield that is usually pretty empty if you kill stuff along the way casually while doing quests, he could always spawn out there somewhere, that would make an awesome place to fight a boss with his armies?

Banner of Menzies: Constant effect. Foes in range of Menzies cannot block his attacks, cannot hex him, and cannot blind him. Other conditions last 100% longer, and foe shouts and chants last 50% longer.
Goal: Eternal Soldiers join your fight and call upon Balthazar to cower Menzies. Their calls are easily interrupted (calls are Chants and take 5 seconds to cast) and fill bar similar to Dhuum. Except, bar is called Bathazar's Arrival and takes just as long to fill. They are unaffected by "Shut Up!".

Shadow Spear does FAR too much damage.
Submit would be instant death to a noob-intermediate team.
The eternal soldiers would be pointless, why not just have them in the fight helping you with heals and some damage and you can do something like this.
Torches are spawned all around the battlefield, in the middle there is a cauldron called the flame of Balthazar. Your party is meant to pick up the torches and bring them to the flame, as the flame increases more reinforcements join the fight and when it is filled Balthazar finally arrives with a large brigade of men and the final battle begins. Balthazar is a warrior (he will not have to survive). Something along those lines would make sense with the lore of FOW.
