I used a ruler to get it as accurate as I possibly could and so far it's doin the trick for me.

There was 25%, 50%, 75% markers on enemy health bar during E4E 2004 preview.

I don't know what happened as to why health bar changed since then. My only answer is that it was "cheating" when executing final thrust for example. This answer was always ok to me when using such skills. But who cares if someone is "cheating", lets get the old health bar back!

This is actually a really great idea. In a game like Guild Wars that rewards precision, anything that limits guesswork is a great thing IMO. Anet is even taking a step in this direction with their recent update of the morale boost counter.

I don't see how anything bad can come from this.

I came up with an idea a few months ago about a full ruler on the bars with larger ticks for 10, 20, 30 etc to 90. Cause there's skills like Unsuspecting strike and Light of Deliverance etc.

It escapes me how it can be considered cheating to know when to use final thrust. As mentioned before, Guild Wars rewards precision. I would actually love the idea of the health bar with the 50% mark MOSTLY because of skills like this. I might actually USE the skill if there were markers.

Maybe a Skull overlaid on the Health bar at 50% and crossbones added at 25% like the marks for assassins only on the other side so it doent interfere

A Little triangle in the maddle of each bar to indicate the halfway point would not get in the way but it would make it so much easier to tell at a glance.

yeah, i use it too, best way is to use awaken the blood + BiP, thats 49.5% sacrifice (if you press F before, it selects you, and shows your hp bar at the top, which is the same place as everybody you target) which leaves your hp at only slightly above 50%.

Well a vertical line would be a problem that would interfere with tex over the bar.
Just make a small triangle in the middle botton of the bar to point the spot:

HP bar turning other color, like yllow would be a proble, since that would be another color change, and we already have two (Poison/Illness and bleeding/mesmer degen)

. And please, anyone who says only a noob cant tell 50% on a bar is just being an annoying ass and they know it, so cut the ^&*( please thanks. There are plenty of times when I really really want to zealous benedict at what looks like 49% but I don't know.
