CMON! 50% out of 450 - 500 life is not all that hard to calculate!!!

And for the enemies, just make their HP bar a litle bigger then the default and you will see that it is easy as hell to notice when he is under 50%.

Lets try to focus on annoying things that NEED a fix like the chat system and let other stuff that can be done perfectly nowadays alone, at least for now.

Easy, useful idea.

Benefits users of :
15>50 weapons (just about everyone that uses collectors/rares/some greens)
shadow strike
Word of healing
Shroud of distress
moebius strike
Life Barrier (kind of)
blood drinker
taste of pain
final thrust
"you will die!"
serpent's quickness

Mostly benefits you when you are using skills on ENEMIES (key word here) that must be >50% or <50% health for the skill to work.
needling shot
brutal strike
gaze of contempt
deathly chill
flesh of my flesh (sort of)
Infuse Health (maybe)

I like when people critisize/disagree when they actually have no real point.

However, I do agree showing exact hp may be too far, but a little tick on the hp bar? Please... find better things to try and argue about.

It's a good idea, but only limit it to your own party. I would add an extra notch at 90% for eoe etc tho.

I used a ruler to get it as accurate as I possibly could and so far it's doin the trick for me.

Signed for halfway mark, because eyeballing too often robs you thanks to a lucky hit point, but definately not for hp display! That completely removes the edge that not knowing your opponent's health gives to the game.

how do you play guildwars if you cant visually cut a bar in half in your head with your eyes with the interface full customized if you really wanted a marker? are you lot that disabled?

Firstly, I'm not using it for wanting to know what half of MY health is as Kool Pajamas stated, I can divide by two for pete's sake. It's for enemies, so I know when it's ok to use skills like final thrust, and certain necro skills that involve 50% hp to be more effective. Secondly, I don't always have Monk as my warrior's secondary profession depending on what I'm doing, so it still helps me no matter what I am, nor what character I'm using for that matter. And thirdly, Infuse Health? Come on use your head. As a warrior fighting on the front lines of battles the last thing I want is to lose half my health to heal someone else, that's the Monk's job, and also since I'm on the front lines I'll be taking a lot of damage and so my health is going down, Infuse health says "Lose half your current health", that won't help at all either.

Good idea, in whatever form. Displaying the enemies HP as a direct number would out of the question, as stated earlier, but expressing it as a percentage wouldn't give anyone an advantage I think. The ability to view percentages of anyone's hp (self, party, target) would be the simplest solution I think to the whole issue, but putting markers on the bar would work also. The advantage of a percentage is that it's there all the time and there isn't any issue of 'if there's a mark for 50%, why not 75%/25%, then why not 80% for EoE etc etc'.
