I was AFK for 22 hours in one session for CNY in Shing Jea, but not for 9 Rings. No connection errors occurred.
@topic: No. Please don't repeat the lag festival. Please delete Nine Rings and Rings of Fortune.

I'd like a re-dux. I had several toons I wanted to run through the CYN quests and I couldn't log on to them during the finale. Yes, I am going for the GWAMM titles and could use the items. This happened to several people who were unable to log on to toons that were in Kamadan and LA. The situation was resolved about hour and a half before the end of the entire event.
Do people really play 9 rings and actively sit at their computer?
And that's why they are so angry at the first poster? It seems like the game was designed to farm for unlucky/lucky points while you are afk.
It could be re-done in May or something and the angry folks don't have to attend...it's only one weekend after all.

Or, how about if the title was just modified to make it less grindy?
You know, instead of 2,5 mil and 500k points we slash that in half?
Or into a quarter of what it is now?

Pardon my français, but shit happens. It happens to a handfull of people during every festival.
I was in the same exact boat as some of you during a previous festival. I'd fill up my inventory with tickets, go to bed, come back a couple hours later to check on the progress of my titles and I'd be looking at my login screen with the "James Bond wuz here!" message. If I recall correctly, it happened several times, but there wasn't ever a point where I felt the need to cry about it.
There will always be a handfull of people that will randomly disconnect at some point during a festival, why not just request a redux of every festival because of this? If the same thing happens during the redux... request a redux of the redux... the cycle will always continue and we will have festivals 365 days a year! They will start to overlap, but who cares? More drops, more quests, and more AFKing on the rings! It will be totally awesome!
Don't get too excited, I am actually being sarcastic this time.
I'm not angry, I just don't feel that a redux is necessary for an event that went smoothly for 99% of the GW population.
I'll repeat again for those of you that can't read... the boardwalk opens three times a year. Why do a redux of CNY in May when it's open again for the birthday celebration at the end of April? After that, we have the Dragon Festival in July.
I think I missed the "come on down and go AFK on a ring for three days!" part of the announcment. I seriously doubt that 9 rings is being played the way Anet intended. We turned it into an AFK fest. *facepalm*

Redux because of a connection problem?
My vote: no
Can't blame anyone for this, its a connection problem, lag-outs in mission/JQ/etc.
I didnt lag out but I have a hard time sleeping , slept than wake up early to check if i'm still in the game.
