well on a corresponding note, I think the main problem with AB is that even if you do play it kinda gets tiresome eventually right?
In FA there are still the odd few players who go in and introduce counters to the main builds so more people play it. In AB, you have maybe 3 builds that are of any use per class because nobody wants to expiriment anymore.
If you also made AB more random, or something change every map besides just the design (ie. a set of maybe 10 different base guardians, every time you capture one of hte bases one of these ten randomly spawn to protect it instead of one set per base).
I could write up an entire thread on how to make AB more appealing...actually I think I might do that -.-

No. Have you been asleep since they deleted the last several things from GW without replacing them? (Codex does not rate as "Replacement". Not even slightly)
Deleting any play format from a game already seriously lacking in PvP diversity, especially when that game was supposed to be based on PvP, is just ftl.
For the OP's idea, and to no lesser extent Bob's addition, /signed.

If the faction rewards were better then people would do it more often. I quit doing AB as soon as i found out JQ was the high reward arena. I do AB again since maxing titles though. So yeah. would be cool if the reward was as high as JQ and FA.

I think that they should have 5 battle fronts available, and players should get to pick where they go. That way people who want a challenge, and massive bonus's wen they win get to go to Deep Enemy Territory, and people who want easy victories can defend their deep territories. Only problem I can see is that in an already deadish area splitting it into 5 areas would kill it completely.

Ill sign on the idea, but if you think Luxon need help with a push you're sorely mistaken....we were sytuck on kurz teritory, the last 2 maps of their area for the past like 8 months....I was extatic to see the luxon actualy lost for a while.
(IF i misconstrued sorry XD and ill agree with you on that. Im tired of seeing kurz maps)

Would not work, it would further devide the faltering and small AB base...and with how people play the game today among 90% of the community its about faction and Money...meaning EVERYBODY will be on the areas of highest faction if they had the descision to be there, and no other areas would ever see it played.
I think the player regulated AB map is a bad thing and should change like clockwork so everyone can see all the maps instead of seeing Grenz for a few months in a row...

The problem is faction gained is in much larger quanteties in JQ and FA, NOTTO MENTION you win matches faster in both arenas, so even with a balanced Faction output JQ and FA are systematically more efficient with quicker games allowing you to compile faction at a faster rate.
AB needs an increace in faction slightly higher than FA or JQ.
(Personaly thinking, JQ is the best faction farm in game you run bomb and repeat and get massive amounts of faction through seemingly a simple task, and fast. FA comes in second with a slower gameplay mechanic but still pumping out on faction, AB is slowest, and also meh when it comes to faction gained.) at least thats what I see.
all in all Up the faction gained in AB, and make the map transfer at least a biut faster in terms of wins, so you can see the variety of maps....ive seen enough kurz area for a lifetime >__>
