What for? You can only access the WiK Quests and spawns if you have completed Prophs... adn that means you need to have at least gained access to the Ring of Fire mission where you can get an infusion for any armor you have equiped.

It was a bad suggestion before and it still is. Until there's no other way to infuse lore-wise, that would really make no sense.
And, maybe now that people need infusion for WiK prophecies will be a less trascurated campaign

Actually one does not have to have beaten Prophs to gain access to WiK. I think someone posted a flow chart on the reqs....I know that beating EotN and doing Thackery's Scavenger hunt are sufficient alone.
P.S. Prophs sux btw...worst of all campaigns in terms of re-playing enjoyment. (ofc imo)

Untrue, it looks like EotN is enough.

I see no reason to take away a reason to play any of the game. If infusion is required (which it isn't technically) and can only be done in one place (although it can be done in 4 that I know of), then that gives people a reason to play those sections of the game. I actually wish Prophecies had required primary quests to be able to advance, but wont' argue for it to get changed. Always wondered why people skipped large sections when they are fun to play. Yet people skip most of the jungle, often the desert unless a Prophecies character that needs to do the attribute point quest, and a lot of times all but Thunderhead and the last 3 missions.
Since you can easily be run to any place for infusion, it isn't difficult to still skip large sections of the game.

Just out of curiosity have ya'll done prophs 10 times?...It gets very redundant not to mention exceedingly time consuming when you're talking about mutiple, mutiple chars.

I've done infusion runs with six chars, one of those with three different armor sets. It's not fun and it takes extra time but it's not needed to finish the game and requires minimal time investment (what, 20 min?)

If you don't want to go to the Southern Shiverpeaks to infuse, then don't do it. Spectral Agony can be countered without infusion.

umm yeah i have got 11 protectors of tyria on one account, all 10 professions plus a 2nd ranger, and 4 other characters on a 2nd account that made it to the ring of fire. i also have done multiple infusion runs when i buy new armor just because its become a habit to do so after almost 5 years of playing
im not in favor of making infusion easier. infusing the henchies for the WiK stuff? yes. although another idea for infusion if the programmers had the time. add a NPC in Lions Arch Keep that checks your armor, if not infused and you need to infuse a piece or all of it the NPC then offers to teleport you to mineral springs just outside the ice imp cave to get infused there. you would still have a little fight to do before getting infused.

Main account has 10 characters on it that have Protector of all 3 games and have finished Eye of the North. I have a total of about (didn't count, so trying to remember) 32 armor sets on those 10 characters that have been infused, and a handful that still need it. And that doesn't count the characters I have deleted that had gotten that far (3 or 4 I think).
It doesn't take long to do if you know what to do, and it definitely isn't hard.

With the ease of the run, I don't see an automatic infusion as necessary.
I also don't see the point in adding an infusion run in early on for fighting the Jade/Mursaat. The content is essentially endgame stuff, and if you've played through the end of Prophecies, you'll have your armor infused, or have easy access to where you can get it infused.

It would be nice if they added a quest in WiK to get your armor infused. Or better yet make it so your character is infused, not the armor. Im sure Zinn could figure out how to do that . Ive changed armor on most of my characters and have multiple armors sets, since beating proph. Its going to be a pain getting infused 10+ times if its going to be necessary later in the WiK storyline.
Before WiK I could see this not being a big deal, because you would need to get infused anyway. But now with the increase in difficulty of the peacekeepers and spectral agony, its worth exploring an alternative to grinding your characters through infusion runs.

Edit: Henchies should also be infused in the WiK storyline, technically it occurs after proph so they should be infused and probably lvl 20. An easy way to fix this is that that stay the same lvl in an outpost, but change when you enter an explorable area, like in HM. Thier skill bars still pretty much suck, but thats another thread.

It is endgame for all characters, not just prophecies ones. Some of my toons have access to the quests but the thought of having to fight my way all the way from LA to the southern shiverpeaks just to get infusion discorages me from taking them through.

If you don't really want to infuse all your sets, you can just swap it when fighting mursaats/jades. I don't see such a problem in it.

Then don't fight all the way through? Last time I checked, Running wasn't a crime.

They did add a seer to Kryta, but the Asura you brought in captured it/her/him for their experiments.

Wow, not much love for lazy people here . I have 11 characters each with 4 armor sets, most of whom started in a campaign other than Prophecies. I really don't want to do 30 or so infusion runs to do the remaining infusions. And having only 1 infused armor set is meh. I like to swap my armor around a lot with different builds: I have a minor, major, superior, and attunement/vitae piece for each attribute.

I won't mind having to pay... let's say 1 ecto to get infused quickly in the Keep.
