That's like a candy shop not getting any foreign chocolates in because the customers think there is already enough...
What about the people that want more chocolate varieties????
/signed because... well, more chocolate!

Think about it... When you finish Nightfall, is it the endgame weapons you dedicate? No. It's the Tormented weapons from DoA.
When you finish Eotn, you don't put those end-game weapons in the HoM, you put Destroyer weapons in.
...See?

My thoughts exactly, it's not big or important enough to be HoM worthy.

Honestly, I think every weapon should be dedicatable at the hall of monuments. We should be able to dedicate our favorite weapons whether they are a machete and lion shield or a tormented sword + shield.

Like HigherMinion says, we have Deldrimor Gold Weapons and now Oppresors Weapons if you have all set of of high-end why not put it in HoM?, not everybody have the time to stand-up or waitng for a party to do a DoA speedclear. IMHO I think you should put a weapon of your like not by social status by the likes of the "ELITE" of torment weapons for example, like I mention before if there is a whole set of gold weapons there (Torment, Destroyers, Gold Deldrimors and now Oppresors, I would say Bonus Mission Pack too but is a bit unfair since not everyone have a Bonus Mission Pack which I would like but I'm realistic in that area too) should be there available to put in HoM.
That's my two cents

Signed.
It takes much more work to get an couple of oppressor weapon (realistically) then it does a destroyer weapon.

Well, unless you were one of the 90% that farmed the courier and ended up with stacks and stacks of Medals of Honor from stacks and stacks of War Supplies.
Oppressor's weapons were actually easy to get for most of the community, so I don't think they are HoM worthy. But for those of us that didn't farm and end up with billions of War Supplies/Medals of Honor, I think we deserve to be able to put these weapons in our HoM for all the work we put into them.
So either way, /signed or /unsigned. Works for me either way

well you can sit in kamadan or la for about 5 minutes advertising to buy a destroyer weapon and probably get one for under 20k. how is that more important and worthy than something that is actually challenging and enjoyable to get

Unfortunately, speaking true, apart from titles everything in HoM is just something you only need money for achieving, no effort in any mission or whatever, sob. Nonsense but that's the way it is

There are gold deldrimor weapons that cost about the same as destroyer weapons, except to craft them you have to beat proph, every single time you want one, so there's no logical reason why they can't be dedicated and destroyer weapons can.

Seems like people are overexcited. The weapons do look pretty and they are new and shiny, I get it, but making these weapons available in HoM just doesnt seem right imo. I would love for Tengu Weapons to be able to be dedicated to HoM...or Mursaat Weapons but yeah...same story.

Do you guys know how long it took for Tormented weps to be able to put into the HoM? Ya, GW2 will be out by the time Anet does it.

yeah after reading there will not be a dedicated healer class it kinda makes you wonder about GW2. as for me ive yet to fill my HoM for the sole reason of the unknown of the benefits. but back on topic, i agree with a few other posts, we should be able to dedicate any weapon of our choosing as long as its gold and req 8 or 9 and max damage. i dont like the torment or destroyer weapons but would love to put in my Storm Bow, Eternal Bow, Eternal Shield or chaos axe in the HoM

I agree completely. Any gold weapon should be displayable in the hall of monuments (though i would say no to a req requirement). I don't know what benefits the hom will give in GW2 but the benefit should be based on your favorite weapon in my opinion.
