Anyhow...OT - Adding more things to chest there would only benefit the current HA people as said by others. It may get people into it for a short time after they implemented it, but I don't see it lasting as many people would just get too frustrated I think.

ANet's failing at PvP hasn't been a lack of incentive, but a lack of a more accessible, enjoyable format. RA and TA was pretty much it, but were not supported too well and were balance nightmares. AB and the Competitive Missions are a joke and revolve too much around NPCs.

HA is a higher end (it requires a lot of organisation and weak players leave you at a large disadvantage in a competitive setting) PvP format that is very unrewarding for poorer or inexperienced players - this will not change by increasing the material reward from the end-chest.

It doesn't matter what you add, those that do not do PvP would just by it from those that do.
And if they can't sell them, many people that actually would do it may not bother about it.

Its funny how HA-ers want more insensitive for people to HA, but still exclude them from their groups. Excluding people because they are new are not going to make them want to play with you. Say what you will about rank discrimination, but I'm pretty confident when I say this is why most players don't even bother.

Constantly beating people and calling it a learning process is just not going to seem worth the effort when you can play PvE and have a much more pleasant experience...

The ever shrinking exclusive pvp community is what made HA populace what it is today...First with Rank Discrimination, second with the use of interrupt botters that caused some of your most common participants to be banned, and third the constant criticism dealt out by the remaining pvp-ers towards pve-ers... most people play games for fun, these properties do not fall into many players definition of fun.

When you exclude players there are less people to play with... simple mathematics. A weapon set or any chest reward will not solve these problems.... Theres nothing stopping pvp-ers from pve-ing... there are overwhelming barriers for pve-ers to pvp. Of course Anet is going to cater to the area of the game available to the most players, not reward elitism. Its just good business since.

. Over and over again, iv seen people blowing this off as laziness or "bad player talk". I just wish that the HAers would acknowledge that this is true rather than saying that retarted "less QQ, moar Pew Pew" talk.

Current HA'ers don't want more incentives. A lot of them want format changes. There are also a lot of people that used to play HA that quit, but would come back with good format changes (while there would also be some that would quit if format changes, the former is far greater than the latter). They really want a format that is in itself fun to play.

I'm still not really sure who you are talking about. I mean I am an HA'er. While I'm not going to be letting your into one of my groups, it has nothing to do with rank, I only play with people I know. That is true for just about every HA group that is going to achieve any success other than farming Underworld. I don't know why people are making a big deal about the "rank discrimination" that is preventing them from getting into groups that are the cream of the crap.

And aside from that, the way your post is written, you come off as if you have a terrible attitude and entitlement issues. With that kind of attitude it wouldn't even matter if you could easily get into groups, the groups wouldn't want to play with you and would kick you out.

HA is dead not because of lack of PvE reward....

LF R9+++ ONLY when there's one district with a dozen people, getting matched with guild/high rank group after spending an hour forming a low ranked group (when ranks should be segregated from the very beginning), no decent group forming mechanisms, and of course, time....killed the area.

Adding in PvE reward would only result in the same groups of people screaming LF R9+++++ even louder than before because they can't risk not getting their item with those horrible little low rankers.

have any of you ever been to doa or toa recantly i pve and pvp but most pve'ers have the same type of discramanation when they see a build or no high title or only looking for r7+ LB or things along those lines most HA'ers are snobs but the reason your look for higher rank most the time isn't 2 be a snob it's to have a higher chance of success now i went and held halls with r3+ teams last time with me leading and lots of other high ranked players do the same thing when they do byob but most pve'ers who are compligning don't even try 2 join a low ranked guild.

but back on topic idk if this idea will really help ha at all the current halls map update that anet talked about going back to a old set up might and maybe doing this with other things might revitalize ha

and for the 3erd note ha'ers want more people into ha not 2 take them but 2 have more compection most ha'ers who are still active is a group of 10-20 the really active ones and rarly have 2 pug but they always play the same teams over and over and that gets boring

Adding HoM weapon drops to the toomz chest would at least double if not even triple the HA population therefore it's a great idea.

how can i join/make a good team if the only people in HA are the r8+ people?

there aren't only r8+ teams there are quite a few r3+ guild who form up who take unranked people you just have 2 look for them for more than 20 secs get fed up and leave
