and future gw1/2 costumes in the store should cost $100,000 US dollars too; makes them more unique right?

while i like the idea. i never really could fathom why you would want chaos gloves.
more than half the ecto you needed for a full obby armor set for only gloves? really?
a whole chaos armor set worth 250 ecto and a spot in HoM would've been nice. although it might hurt your eyes...

You guys seem to be forgetting that it isn't Anet's fault that Ecto/Obsidian is priced the way it is. It is the community's fault. Anet doesn't set the prices, we do.
So saying Anet shouldn't release something cause it would be too expensive, is our own fault for making it expensive. Anet has no control over the market. It is all community driven.

^truth. Show stones anyone?
It is kinda Anet's fault too because they said we were getting a skill update every two months when they implemented the Test Krewe over a year ago and that didn't happen. You almost have to change the meta constantly or you start getting craziness like being able to farm Frostmaw in 20 minutes. I don't think ANet intended Frostmaw to be cleared in 20 minutes in HM.

For reference, that's 30 hours of mindless farming just for a pair of gloves. If that's how you define casual play, you need to take a break from GW. Nothing wrong with farming for 30 hours for a pair of gloves if that's what you want to do, but something definitely isn't right when you consider that casual play. Not you in particular, but anyone who thinks this is casual, get outside and get some air, for your own sake.

Never said otherwise, never disparaged anyone for doing it, the only thing I'm saying is that if you consider it casual play you're playing too much GW.
