err to me this sounds like a bad case of lazyness.
La keep is right next to la and accessed from la ( that we all know ) and your telling me its hard to get a team and would be easier within la keep ? thats a bit like saying im sitting in toa and i cant get a team for uw/fow - theres always people there .
If your on euro servers ( i find euro english anywhere quite dead ) then just switch to usa servers ( which i think a lot of euro players have done ).
Challenge mission is bad idea - so far in gw all the challenge missions are easily accessable within reason - ie nf you get to kourna for first one and they are non dependant on chrs having completed a campaign where wik requires you to have done all the requirements before you even get a sniff of la keep.
Like i said - ive seen plenty of ppl in la lfg for wik content and they seem to cope fine.

LA is more of a trade outpost than a group forming place. Have you ever tried to get a group for WiK in LA? It takes at least 10-15 minutes, and thats not counting the time you have to sort through the newbies and trolls. Not all of us have hours and hours of time to play, i personally only get about 45 minutes to an hour a day of free time, and spending 25% of my time getting a group is pretty lame. I am a solo player myself for the most part, and having the level 10 henchmen is also a problem. I totally agree with the OP on having an outpost for Lions Arch Keep and having level 20 henchmen available to us. Challenge mission, i dont really know where your going with that, so i'll leave that alone.

You can't make Lion's Keep an outpost because the Oppressor/Commemorative Weapon Keepers are there after you beat The BLA, and they are not there when you haven't beat it. It would require two different outposts. Also various dialogs happen there along the WiK timeline with different NPC's. It's just not feasible.

There are a few problems with the wik content when it comes to doing it on multiple characters, in that I will come to the point where all my friends have done it and don't want to repeat.
Battle for Lions arch and a couple of the other missions have really needed at least 2 players due to low level henchmen being a little useless.
Appreciate that they wanted all the new content to be available to as wide a player base as possible.
I would like an area to do wik content from but doubt its worth their time doing it for such a minor reason.
The already announced updates of Ebonhawk, Embark Beach or 7 heroes might make it redundant anyway.

I agree that the henchmen are pretty much useless in LA, but it would require a lot of additional coding to make lvl 20 henchmen for only those currently in WIK and would likely require two separate outposts. At the same time, I agree with jazilla in that LA Keep cannot feasibly be turned into an outpost due to all the dialogues and addition of new NPCs.
Hopefully, ANet has seen the threads on this and have worked to avoid the problem in Cantha and Elona. It shouldn't be a problem anyways since there are lvl 20 henchmen once you get off noob island in Factions and NF.

The henchmen were ok in BfLA, it is scaled to take account of them. That battle, chuckle; went in solo after reading a lot on recommended skills, setting up heroes and my char for a lot of AoE. Stressed over it a little. Even had a bad case of cold feet! Had my bag stuffed with consumables.
But first run I did not use any consumables, just to see how bad it was. Just to see how far I could get. But it was not bad at all! Just long and a tad tedious. Cakewalk! Did use one rez scroll due to getting bored and not watching what I was doing.
So, just IMHO they should leave it like it is. Not that big of a deal, really, and not worth extra programming that would be better off somewhere else. Stephen and Orion were the level 10 hench. Livia N/Rit healer kept them alive well enough. Technically I could have done about as well without them, but it seemed more complete to have them along.

Is it really that big of a deal to have the oppressor weapons keepers with out the items to acquire the weapons. Everyone knows they are coming in the end anyway. I can see your point with the time line, but it could be done with a cut scene the same way as the "Trial of Zimm".

Its not so much lazyness. I agree with the Thrilla Killa who says its a trading outpost. But more than that there are 5 to 10 districts at any giving time for LA. Sorting though them all for a quest/mission takes a long time. I have been in groups for Battle for Lion's Arch where we had to jump to 3 different districts to complete the group. Using ToA is not really a fair comparison. There are always ppl there, that I agree with. However those ppl are there for UW and FOW, not so much for WIK at LA.

I understand what the OP is after and I agree that puging in WiK and the henchmen were not the easiest or well thought out aspects. But, I think its more a flaw of the WiK design than an outpost could fix. The best we can hope for is that Anet learns its lessons, and C:WoC is not as haphazard.

Totally agree. Zoning to LA to get to the keep is an unnecessary of time and server capicity.

Hmm... to be perfectly honest, I managed to H/H WiK... yes, it was challenging (especially for someone who's only played for 2 months) but it's MEANT to be. Solution to Lv 10 henchies? Hard mode. The only part of WiK I really had issues with was Temple of the Intolerable which took about 3/4 attempts until I worked out a good strategy.
No, I didn't use consumables either.
I'll admit it's a bit of a pain when you want to get there quickly but it's only a couple of minutes to go to the NPC to move there.
A minor annoyance at best so /notsigned.
