i think it would be neat if there was a chest like the zaishen that has a chance of dropping any mini in the game. they could have it opened by tokens purchasable from zaishen coins, droks keys (other endgame rewards or maybe a reward for finishing all three campaigns) or something like that.

If this was implemented, it would be better to just add some minis to the Zaishen Chest rather than make a new one. I don't think it's a good idea though. Birthday minipets should not be obtainable outside of birthdays, minis that relate to in game events like the Canthan New Year ones and the Black Moa Chick should not be obtainable outside of those events, and rare asian minis should probably remain rare. /notsigned.

I'm sure glad that asian minis are gunna get more rare i mean gosh those thinks only 2000e for some of them that so cheap sarcasm off. yea no asian minis need to be open to the public so many people quit with them in there inventory there are few left

I vote that a new set of like 5 or 10 minis should be added to the z-chest.
No birthday/in-game quest related/contest prize minis should be in the chest.

Indeed, new minis would be a good idea, but adding existing mini's to it is a bad idea.

Bad Idea, you can get all reward ingame minis in any moment, If Anet want to put new asian minis ingame they can do other kind of contest or something, but not ingame rewards.
New minis in zaishen chest-> no ty...

New minis as a reward in ingame missions -> yes, why not?
win them as mini Dhuum, I signed for new items/minis in Hard Missions, mini Urgoz in Urgoz Chest, other kind of mini (not Kanaxai) in Kanaxai Chest, Mini Phantasmal in FOW chest...
These will do the player play the game again, but probably the people will find a new sc's and farms...

The only change I'd make to the chest is replacing all sweets and alcohol by zaishen coins, that disappear instead becoming unlinked when the owner zones out.

Although your other ideas were pretty good, I have to disagree with this one..

Anet didn't budge when people who used 5 stacks of Zkeys the day before the title was implemented either.. I think people with r12 Zaishen are rich enough to buy the minis if they want.. Lol, no need to feel sorry for them...

new mini's only in that chest... sure, that'd be nice, another way to get something nice (hopefully) and rare, which would be nice

tbh, i dont farm z keys or get em with z coins, as i never had any interest in that chest (also dont care much about titles)
this may make me do alot of z quests to get those keys, just for fun to try and test my luck(not title

Based on the thread title, I thought this was going to be something completely different.

As I'm working my butt off to try and fill my HoM, minipets -- especially the more expensive colored ones and 4th-5th years -- are draining my bank dry. So I'm all for new minis being added to the game. But I don't really like the idea of them coming out of a chest (Zaishen or otherwise). It seems as though the devs realize our hustle in getting ready for GW2 and are trying to make things easier for us already -- Nick gifts can give us minis, the WiK Royal Gifts can give us minis. I'd imagine Winds of Change will offer us new mini potential too.

Even though I'm sitting on almost 200 Z-keys waiting for the EL tonic month I want to roll around, and as hungry as I am for minis (especially if I can earn them myself), I'm not wild about this idea.

On the same note then, it was a bad idea to do Zaishen title because people lost the chance to use previous Balth faction to go towards it...just like any other non-retroactive thing in the game.

I'd sign it for the sake of getting more things into circulation.

Well no doubt some people are going to trash this idea because they fear it will lower the value of their minis if more come into circulation. I would also be affected the same, however, I'm not so self-centered (no offense intended to those that are) that I would allow that to affect my decision to support, or not, the idea of more people having a chance at some of these rare minis. Therefore:

Some miniatures are associated to birthday , thus i will say /notsigned for the suggestion as it is now. However , implementing some new miniatures t oadd them to zchest would be nice..
