To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

Euh, Allegiance? Or is that not grindy enough? PvP titles are pretty grindy too, so.. After NF? Hmm..

I also like the letter idea, but something in the trend of "Transferring rep points" is good, but also bad. It would be cool to transfer all my LB points from my mesmer (which is getting extremely close to 1,000,000 atm or my ssin, which is at 500,000 atm) to random characters, but I wouldn't accomplish anything..

As for Eotn rep, I know a guy that has close to 1,000,000 Norn points from doing Fmaw so insanely much.. It would be very easily exploited that way (I know it isn't the way you described it.)

But your way is so.. Meh.. 10% of a title is still not that much, it would make more sense to be able to transfer points, but that would beat the purpose of a "bounty title" which you get by "getting a bounty and killing stuff." My mesmer and my ssin killed shittons of demons in DoA, but my necro hasn't. Should I reward my necro with the kills made by my mes and ssin? I think not(getting max LB is easy though, but for me personally, it's a good example).
