exploreable missions in proph
why not? we have a few thanks to war in kryta, and canthan and elona have them
wouldnt it be fun to walk in fort ranik exploreable, or other proph missions exploreable?
this would not only make exploring a lil better, as i've heard the last 5 % will be very hard, but also we could get some new quests which are about the last moments of ascalon and the others, which tells more about what happens from the last storyline in GW to GW2
it cant hurt the game, and it'll be interesting, and maybe make the enemies some stronger or such, except for ascalon ones, as those have a max. party of 4, and may be very annoying
i hope this idea will do something good to GW and the community
ps. i hope this hasnt been suggested, as i looked at the list and searched around

I'd love to see that.
There are a couple of quests that require to do stuff inside the mission areas, I hate when elites can only be found inside a mission, and exploring while making a mission is just plain annoying.
But there are 22 other areas. It's not something that can happen in a snap of fingers.

This'd involve them making entirely new mob spawns for all of those zones, balancing them, then making referrers to the zones so you can actually enter them and not get stuck, then make a way to access them as most of them aren't adjacent to any other zone.
In other words; wont happen.

Not to mention: 79 vanquishes for Tyrian Vanquisher would just suck. I've been mapping Tyria this week so I get that it's a pain in the ass, but this just wouldn't work for a number of reasons.

If they made the areas explorable, I highly doubt they would force people to VQ them for the title; Due to the main fact that so many people have already finished that tittle... they would never take that away...
I agree they should make them easier to explore. Its really annoying trying to explore some areas while you have to keep rurik alive

vanquish? you cant vq the krytan missions in WiK mode
i took cantha and elona as example, and mentioned that we got a few in War in Kryta
it should then be the way as they did it in WiK of course, no vqs, just exploreables, and some quests could be nice, but even just making them exploreable would do, just put in the same enemies as there are in missions, except they just walk around, instead of waiting for something to happen like in the missions
and the only place you can res to after wipe, will be the entrance
same enemies, but some higher levels
vanquishers dont need to worry about their title, and explorers can explore without having to watch npc's or such
sure, it wont be today or tomorrow, and sure, it'll go after dervish and embark/full hero, and maybe some more they've been talking about like monk's smiting line, but some time after that, they could make em free for us
EDIT:
also, the enemies in ascalon missions could be the eotn charr (just smaller groups, as it has a limit of 4 in party), as they are lvl 20, so that exploring will still be a bit slower than killing lvl 10 or lower, making it not too easy to do, and you could farm superb charr carvings if you like to explore and/or enjoy the scenery
same with maguuma jungle, but then the asura area enemies,northern and southern shiverpeaks the same as eotn shiverpeaks
and the desert just having higher lvls
i guess a few missions cant be exploreables, like augury rock and dragon's lair
with some editing, we can explore and enjoy the scenery, and kill eotn enemies (or just higher lvls in desert)

QQ Carthographer is hard? No it isn't, it just takes long..
Won't happen, doesn't need to happen, all it does is make carthographer easier, since making it a true explorable would piss a lot of people off that just got Tyrian VQ'er.
And making it WiK-like would mean the live team needs to spend precious time on something utterly useless that could be spent buffing ele or ranger. Also, lore-wise it wouldn't work out.
Just get the job done like everyone else, the long and boring way.

first of all, i dont think exploring is too hard, as i said: i HEARD it, still busy myself, and probably have done most missions with exploring
second, noone can say it IS useless, as people enjoy it, and in my 1st post, i said they could make quests, saying this is useless, would also say that the WiK exploreable missions, are useless too, as its the same
lore-wise, well, if i have to point out all things which dont fit lore-wise, i'll be busy for a while, just look at ascalon for example, you can kill low lvl charr, which are attacking ascalon, with some character which is from factions or nightfall, weird is, NOTHING changed
and, did i say: i'd like to see them hurry up with this?

and since i said eotn enemies and higher lvl, it could be that we first have to :
1. complete the missions we wanna explore/enjoy without having to pay attention to npc's
and 2. complete eotn storyline (just like WiK)
since its not part of WiK, we always get higher lvl enemies, and they always spawn
there, a bit more added to my idea
