1 set of armor is nothing like a costume. You design and create a costume twice (male and female versions). A new set of armor has 20 versions, and needs to be tied in appropriately to UW. Also, costumes are a rare source of income for Anet. Remember you're not paying monthly to play and Anet needs to spend their time on things that are the most important and most financially viable. UW armor is neither of these. Complaining about this is pointless anyway. I seriously doubt you really wanted all 50 of those minipets. The money you spent on them is wasted, even more so than with FoW armor, because FoW armor can actually be used. It's just more money. I'm all for new armor sets, but it's not going to happen.

Rethink: Then make it like a costume, not 20 version. 1 for male and 1 for female, all the same for all profs. Difficult to grasp? Everything is already in place, go for it.

6th birthday celebration perhaps .........

And yes; costumes are an obvious earner, but I purposely left that out

Nop, cause then you would have an advantage over me if you bought the costume. You could get 50/50 HoM by buying something in the in game store, while I can't cause I don't buy stuff in there.

I think you misinterpreted. It's not a costume that you'd buy in the store. It's a set of armor that looks the same for all professions so that the Anet devs don't need to design and create a set for each profession. My response to this is /notsigned. If I'm going to spend over 1000k on something; I don't want something generic that makes me look like a bunch of other people. I want my Warrior armor to make me look like a Warrior and my Ritualist to look like a Ritualist.

What the hell would it be called? O.o Phantasmal Armor, Ghastly, Ghostly, Meh would be nice to get a new set, then again.... would just drive up the market.. I'd prefer something different, like a collectors set, one you get from trading with collectors for various items. idk. :/

Or similar to chaos gloves. Obviously if they did a full body chaos suit that would be just stupid and lazy, but maybe it could have a similar glow. I can't think of a good way to make that look good though.

Yep, was. I mean an armor crafter, not a collector.

You want to stand out from the crowd, then dye each piece of armor a different color m8!

Ok, content is in the pipeline (GW:B, GW2) Don't really think you need to worry or pew pew about that.

Lazy, no. I was fishing for, and I repeat, for an alternative

But lots of negative opinions here, so close if nothing creative is done or said pls Admin.

Or your Assassin look like an annoyed porcupine with a very slight balding problem? 0.o

I got the Female Necro FoW armor, looked at it once. Dedicated it to the HoM and salvaged it immediately. Some armors are to ugly to even be called Fugly... and most Obby Armors fall under that category.

/Signed for an extremely expensive Elite armor that actually looks good fro a change. (even though Id probably not get it any more because I personally dont need it for my HoM)

How about a similar effect to the stormforged ele stuff? 3> that outfit

Would have to stand out a bit tho, so black / red lines or a crazed effect.

People dont like the obby armor bc its old. 5 years ago it was teh shit. I would rather anet put a weapon crafter in UW to compliment there being an armor crafter in FoW. Chaos Sword anyone?

Well UW chest already offers some of the most expensive equipment in the game already. It offers dhuum's scythe and eternal blade, although FoW offers obsidian edge and I don't think it offers anything else worthwhile that the UW chest doesn't. Admittedly though the prices on these things have dropped and it's not uncommon to find someone that has one of those expensive items (especially if you observe/play HA or GvG). Still, a weapon crafter would be pretty cool.

TBH I would like them to do what I said in my last post but not without some love to FoW. I want to see the chest of woe drop its own minis along with celestial compass' and an end boss such as menzies.

The fact is... you have absolutely no idea what you want this armor to look like. You have no suggestion other then "I want a super uber elite expensive armor set so I can show off." If you detest FoW armor, buy some other armor that you like. But no, you don't want armor you like. You want armor that is "leet."

Maybe if UW was a reskinned FoW armor, with FoW using shards only and UW using ectos only it might be interesting.

Still, it's going going to happen. The only outfits they are making now are vanity items and unless they do an armor pack, you'll probably have to pay 8 bucks or whatever just to craft it.

lol, who is to say that you would like UW armor any better than FoW armor. You could end up detesting it even more. If you don't want FoW armor, that is your decision. If having 50/50 HoM was more important to you than buying an armor that you actually plan on wearing and like the look of, then you would get FoW armor regardless. Guess you will just have to deal with the fact that you are stuck at 49/50 because A.net isn't going to make an entire new set of armor to be a substitute for FoW armor because you don't like the way FoW looks. Sorry.
