an increase from 10 to 20k for beginners might be ok but the others have no need to affect the faction cap. If your close to the cap either unlock stuff or get zkeys.

30k?
lol
If anything, I'd go with an increase for Skillz ranks.

Don't see any need for it.
Don't see any harm in it.
Swings and roundabouts.

No need to scale on kurz/lux titles. Zaishen title scaling is a bad idea too. I don't see any problem with increasing the minimum cap to 20k and scaling on the gamer title though.

I've never really understood why they tied the cap to titles anyway. Just hard cap it to 100k for everything and be done with it.

IT's to reward players who put the time commitment into earning a title. If you don't put effort into the various forms of PvP, you don't deserve a larger cap...

No. You know those things called fast faction farms? Each side has them, and they have nothing to do with PvP. They shouldn't be getting a PvP benefit out of it. The existence of a PvE farm for this illegitimatizes its ability to act as anything related to PvP.

See above, the Zaishen title has nothing to do with PvP.

A small increase for the first time playing RA/GVG/HA/Codex (1k each and 1k bonus for trying all 4)

This sounds fair. It could help encourage some playing of different formats, if only for a little while.

10k is not enough to avoid spillover from the HA/GvG quests if all you are spending them on is 5k keys. Really the min cap should just be put up to 15 or 20k, but if you can invent some easy quest for noobs to get through to raise it that works.

Agree, someone with extensive pve history might only be interested in z-keys. They are forced to sit on a z-quest instead of starting on a fresh one until they can buy z-keys to bring them under 1k faction.

Some people only pvp in factions. These people should be able to have a higher balthazar cap since pvp in factions awards balthazar faction. So the choices are give a higher cap for a title that can be achieved from pvp and pve or not. Should the faction pvpers be punished because other people get the title through pve? What harm would there be giving pveers a higher balthazar cap that got the luxon/kurzick title strictly without pvp play?
Summary
By keeping away the higher balthazar cap benefit from pve players your harming the pvp players.
Now 30k per track may be high and certainly could be adjusted. What amount would be a fair figure?

There are already ways to raise the cap.
All you have to do is get ranks in PvP titles. Gladiator and Codex should be more available now.

Also, see above comment...
If you want a higher cap, do PvP. If you aren't able to get ranks in PvP, thus raising your cap, stop QQ'ing on forums.
I'm gonna say this once again: if you don't want to put the effort in to get a certain reward, don't be bitching that you're not getting the reward. It's called logic. Although your last suggestion makes some sort of sense and I could live with it being implemented, since it's a minor change anyway and it would indeed encourage more low-lvl PvP interest. I.e noobs to roll in RA/Codex.
And, just so I can use your ridiculous self-invented way of rating things that I've grown to despise in an ironic way to indirectly insult you:

Its not a reward, its just helping them avoid mindless tedium of breaking up a group to dump faction every round. Mindless tedium that wastes time in between matches should be removed from the game whenever possible, just as Anet got rid of needing to recreate a character to change secondaries/get weapons and such. You wouldn't link the amount of items a character can hold to PvE titles (and item capacity = time till needing to return and sell crap, so it is directly comparable), why link faction capacity to PvP titles?
If anything is "rewarding" PvP players, its strongboxes/titles/faction, which good players already should be getting much more of anyway.

Ahh, the good ol' semi-weekly melissa thread to "fix" a nonexistent problem. I've never heard anyone complain about the faction cap. Pretty much no one earns more than 3k/match, and I'm certain a beginner to PvP isn't UAX, so they can easily go spend their faction on whatever skills, or even Zkeys if they want.
The reason the faction cap is that low at the beginning is because it isn't necessary to be larger. And i'm certain the initial 10k balth cap isn't what's stopping casuals from getting into PvP...

Your ignoring the people that have uax that come from a long history of pve. Your ignoring spillover issues with 9k balthzar faction rewards. Your ignoring the constant need to exchange faction with a 10k cap.

This becomes a simple issue of Why? If you are consistently winning consecutive matches in Random and Codex Arenas to the point where this is a problem (isn't there a cap on this?) then you'll quickly rank up and your cap will increase.
If you are like most mere mortals and lose every so often, then that's when you cash in 5k for your z-key or unlock some skills.
I have no objections, other than any distraction from developer's time will delay further updates and WoC.
