War in Kryta Changes - HM option, and general repetability
Hey, I've been doing WiK on some of my chars, since it's reltively fun, and there's not much left in normal questing to interest me.
Seems that since WoC has a HM questline, with separate rewards, WiK could do the same. Double the quest rewards for HM, ie 2 medals 20k exp 2k or something, and have the option to try and complete in HM. We already have the option for HM bounties, so this makes sense to me.
Also, a related note, I find that BfLA is one of the most enjoyable quests in GW, and I'd love for it to be repeatable, the same stands for Defend Shing Jea (and to a lesser extent Kaineng). Why not have these repeatable with little or no reward. Something along the lines of 10,000xp per runthough, double for HM sounds reasonable, maybe 10 or so war supplies for BfLA, and an equivalent for DSJ and DKC.
Thoughts?

Far as im aware Woc doesnt have an actual hm questline - if you check wiki you will notice that theres no difference in the quests except 2 things.
1. In order to do the hm version you have to complete the nm quest first.
2. Quests are no diff in nm/hm except the reward is bigger.
3. The end result is a bit different as when hm quests are all done you get the new hero.
If you want to repeat WIK quests then join a pug group or just farm the white mantle places as thats the only way bar rolling a new chr

I am aware of this, I've completed WoC in HM and NM (obv). I am suggesting a similar arrangement for WiK.
Perhaps I ought to have been more clear. By "HM Questline" I meant a HM version of the NM quests, with increased difficulty/rewards as in WoC.

I would like this.
As someone who has finished close to everything ( Vanquishing, Legendary Guardian, titan quests HM, WoC HM, DoA HM, UW HM, etc etc) in the game with heroes, this would be another thing I would like to chew on.
When WiK was released, I loved the skillbars of the opponents and the fact a foe usually could have 3 different skillbars assigned to them randomly, meaning it was a bit harder to build wars them.
7 hero update made that challenge pretty absolete, and WoC HM was more about the amount of enemies then about their individual strength in my opinion ( I did like how some afflicted countered popular meta builds however).
If the HM WiK could be scaled to 7 hero difficulty I would certainly enjoy that.
Give it better rewards then NM, but just that, no new hero at the end of it ( not because I oppose it, but I am tired in advance of the QQ-fest that would arise like it did with Zei Ri).
TL;DR I approve.

Pretty sure something like this was probably planned by ANet, ala HM quests like Galrath, but then LOL UPDATES/ADDING CONTENT etc.

Just to note, the optional quests in WoC 3 having different spawn locations in HM. Making a quest HM in itself changes the entire dynamic of your team build, so they can't be close to considered the same thing. The WiK quests are not fun to do in HM, although with BfLA toned down, HM shouldn't be too painful. I don't think it would be high on the priority list.

Relyk, thats the point though. If it's not a challenge it's not fun to do. I stomped the majorty of HM WoC with the team I used for NM.

This.
WoC HM became laughably easy once you knew what was coming ( NM foes with bigger numbers ).
