eliminate balth cap for Zaishen Elite
now that GW2 is out, almost ALL forms of PvP have (as expecteted) have been virtually evacuated. virtually no GvG matches, virtually no HA matches, multiple timer restarts in JQ/FA/AB & even timer restarts in RA...
This has driven the price of zkeys up so that they are currently the most expensive "commodity" to sell between players in the GW market place. Newer players certainly can't afford to buy them even IF there are sellers.
Unfortunately, EARNING zkeys is now (in a very practical/reliable way) accomplished through gold zoins & Zaishen Elite.
Eliminating the daily balth cap will assist newer players in getting the "required" HOM zrank in less than 1 year of grind.

And of course, new players won't realize their zkeys are made from people botting ZElite. It's perfect!

"most expensive "commodity"" is a little excessive. More like not many seller is true. But even around 7k-8k is only around 1-2k more then usual. Trying buying arm, diamond, sapp, ruby lately?
Z-title for HOM also isn't "required" unless you going for 50/50. If your going for 50/50 in less than 1 year of grinding will what can I say you just have to work 3x harder. Farm something else and earn money.

Which is somehow different than what they're doing right now in Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry? All it would do is remove them from being public about their botting.
I'm not promoting the guy's idea, I don't know enough about the zkey economy to really have a valid opinion, but right now they're botting perfectly fine. If they botted somewhere less obvious, I can't say it would ruin my gameplay at all.
As a suggestion to the OP, instead of completely lifting it, raise it some (So, to like 6000 or whatever). This allows you to tailor the value to something that is a non-issue for actual players, but may impeed botting (not that they're not doing it already).

Agreed that there are more expensive items on the market (like arms & gems of all types). I wasn't referring to those other items as "commodities" since they aren't REGULARLY traded to other players for say E tomes, or a few zkeys at a time, or gold zoins, or oppressor weps, etc... zkeys & ecto & shards to a lesser extent are the typcial "commodities" used for trading today for the types of items referenced above.
Agreed that in theory "working harder" will assist newer players in getting zkeys for HOM should they want 50/50. However, working harder ASSUMES that there will be zkeys available for purchase. If they aren't AVAILABLE for purchase then they must be earned in the ways noted in the OP.
Agreed, botting WOULD be a problem... I hadn't thought about that & can't envision a fair PREVENTION technique.... Ah, another idea that "dies on the vine" thanks to the inevitable exploiters... I wonder if that's where the guys I see in GTOB with WTS 1000 zkeys got em over a 3 yr period of ZE (@ 6k balth per day)

Another option would be to just put in more PvE methods for z-key/z-coin acquisition. I mean, if you were to boil it down, the OP's point is that PvP has wound down to nothing. If this continues (due to not enough GW2 people coming back and/or new players), then the question is, is it worth-while to attempt to provide a PvE alternative to acquire PvP rewards.

Agree with PvP empty getting balth to trade zkey will be somewhat hard even if you work 3x harder. I guess last option might be to put zkey up as like a rare material to NPC trader. Then let the market flow its value.
This way you can do other thing to earn gold to purchase it, even if there no longer seller in the game.

Hmmm.... that might be interesting.... I wonder how fast it would be before the trader ran out cause some rich guy went and bought them ALL. Case in point: try buying a celestial sigil in order to start a guild. I suppose if the trader ran out, then the price might be high enough for someone currently hoarding zkeys to sell to the trader... But I suspect that if/when the trader runs out, the player to player prices would soar just the way they did with sigils (well over 50k IF you can find someone selling one)
I too think that with the reduction in PvP that it would be kewl to introduce more/alternate ways to acquire zkeys...

JQ/FA takes longer to get keys, and is more based on your team as well as the individual player.
Uncapped ZElite would be far faster and allow single players to bot it far easier.

Only if more kinds of enemies and completely random parties are added to the Zaishen Elite challenge, like using the HA henchmen as NPCs there, so no boting or farming method works in there.

Even if the opponents were (more) random, botters could just run 1 strong build and just get wins 80% of the time. That's still a lot of faction.
