Heres another retard story. Nayru & The girl that Buzzan is helping trying to get her silver trim back were in kam tonight calling me scammer ect & shit talkin myself & Libido. Does that sound like someone that deserves Buzzan's help? nah not at all. Sounds like she got what she deserved to me. People don't know who others know & associate with. If the tables were turned & it was me helping someone when they were shit talkin my buddy in this case Buzzan they'd be on their own & sol. sry small rant lol

What exactly do you mean ? Buying from the GW Store is committing a crime against common sense. Keys are keys no matter where you purchase them from. Don't be a "legitimacy sucker" finding yourself spending 2x, 3x, to even 4x with the in game store price vs other sites/outlets.

Letting this be out there so people can be informed vs misinformed.

If you buy a Guild Wars key, no matter where you buy it from, and it works....... it's legit.

Yea I'm not going to lie man I botted a lot in the past... eventually it caught up to me and I started flashing around my wealth, which resulted in my account being rolled back and a 3 day ban. I'm not an innocent player who is trying to guilt Anet into giving my account back, I accept what I did was wrong.

I do want to know, however, why they decided to permanently ban me for something I did three years ago? Wait maybe it was 4 years, 2011 seems like yesterday. I think the last thing I've done was work on a Dervish I was going to gwamm a couple months ago...

yeah, I think it is kind of severe to just perma ban folks. why not a 3 day ban first...if they do it again THEN perma.

I think they way they are going is they are just going to ban everyone and shut the game down --they can just say that you knew someone who knew someone who talked to someone who was in a district where something ban-able happened....and then laugh when you think you know whats going on.

No. Nobody has ever, with any proof been able to prove they got banned by running two clients at the same time.

I just got perma'd when only program I have ever used is Multi Launch lol, and my ban reason is "Third Party Program"

They banned my new account this night, on which one I haven't used any other program than MultiLaunch... Maybe they banned it because it's the same IP / HadwareID than my main account, but if their goal is not to clear out gw to shut down the servers, I don't understand what they are doing.

just got the same message...only used texmod...NEVER even been to ab (I am my alliance--me and my other accounts), only did jq a few times.....think they are just getting rid of everyone now--great way to end the game (still have my factions only account though...guess I will play on that until they decide it also botted).

Had you bothered to read all my posts in this thread, you'd have seen that I do have sympathy for people who were banned and were innocent (as well as not caring about botting as long as it's not taking over the game), and I said the amount of innocent people was much smaller than people are trying to claim. I'm not going to gloat and be all 'botter scum u get wut u deserv' because that's not how I feel about this. It's a case of you get caught out, at least hold your hands up and admit it. I have friends in game who botted and got banned. Some of them are back in the game and not botting, others have moved on. I know at least one who missed the banwave. I wouldn't bot myself but if others choose to, realise what's at stake if you do and don't try to play the innocent when you get caught out. And again, not saying everyone who's innocent is lying and those who are lying make it harder for the genuine people to be believed or listened to.
