Default Leveling up Strategy

I had found a good tactic to level up during that BWE where they deleted our characters. Once you hit around 17 go to Mission 3: The Wilds. Repeatedly enter mission and vs the first monster you encounter. I think its name was Entangling roots. Well anyway I got 100 experience each time I killed it. Each run was around 50 seconds. Thought I'd just post this tip

In any other online game I'd jump at this chance and do this, but I almost don't notice my leveling up in GW. To level I just play the missions and try to finish them. IMO the missions are more important than leveling.

I'm glad to find I'm not the only person who doesn't care about the levelling up. I liked not having to think about it, myself.

I don't care either. I just have fun passing through the missions and playing PvP imbetween. I'm not in any huge rush to make my character some über war machine and to get to the end of the game. Although, when it finally releases on the 28th, I'm going to fail my exams.

Their is a better place that you can reach earlier i dont know if you can solo them without certain builds tho since they are level 24 and would kill most low levels but its right outside lornars pass. When i reached 20 i killed a few to get some more skillpoints. Thats the only kind of power leveling i would do.

Oh and you can skip missions by walking to the next mission through the explorable areas...

Better an easier way IMO:

Get as quick as you can to stingray strand (explorable area of the last mission currently)
Once there you should be able to solo lighting drakes. They give a good amount of Exp (I think I was level 18 and got like 175 or something)

In my opinion, redoing a mission just to kill one enemy over and over again isnt' very efficient. Stingray strand has like ~8-16 lightning drakes on the map, and they can all be fought in 1s or 2s I think. If you bring a firend and duo them it's even easier, of coursey ouget half the exp though.

Leveling up in GW really isn't an issue though.

Photics campaigned to get this changed and I think maybe he succeeded. You could do it at levels lower than 17 even.

Well a really fast way to level is join a solid guild group kicking butt in pvp. You'll be 20 and not even have noticed.

Normally in an mmo, Id jump on something like this. But here, I know the levelling will go fast so I really want to lay back relax and enjoy it.

Odd isnt it? But for the first time ever Im not concerned with levelling as fast and as cheesily as possible. Knowing it can be fast, I dont want it now =P

Why would you do that? It takes like 10 minutes to get there only to recieve 175? Whereas in my way you get 100 in 1 minute...

I must be thinking of some other mission then because if your talking about the one where the drakes are by the water, then well it took me 7 - 10 minutes to get there.

I'd vote Stingray Strand. The Lightning Drakes are fun to fight, and what is more, that Wilds exploit got fixed as I recall. Also Stingray Strand is quite scenic and has a big castle floating in the air.
