Yeah, I heard about that after the original post was made. Since Plant Fibers no longer exist you're really just looking at emptying out the material trader for a quick burst of Linen, and you're still looking at paying ~75 gold for a piece of Linen. But it's better than trying to salvage all of 'em.

Same thing as Marble Slabs, Platinum Ore, Monsterous Fangs, Dolyak Hides, Bolts of Cotton, and other materials still that I haven't seen - nothing. It's just another obsolete crafting material that may have mattered at one point but doesn't now.
Peace,

What's amusing is that bones are technically less common than scales now. Of course they're still garbage since nothing uses bones, but it's noteworthy to demonstrate just how out of whack crafting materials are now.

One of the Ranger sets does too.
So do Necromancer charms.
They're technically useful, which is why they aren't in the complete and utter junk category, but, well, they aren't exactly high demand. Or even low demand. Has anyone ever had a problem getting bones?

ok, the economy is going to exist, but what's the point with just the BWE's to play? with the continued tweaking of the economy it seems useless to put too much effort into farming or hoarding. besides, isn't everything going to be reset (except names) before final release anyway? or am i missing something?

Yar!
Hopefully they never fix this but ID Kits and such are actually only half price... if you buy an ID Kit or an Expert Salvage Kit for 40 gold... use it until you have only 1 use left... then sell it back to the vendor (he'll give you 20) and then buy another one... so you're getting 4 uses (of ID kits anyway) for 20 gold rather than 5 for 40 Gold... maybe you guys knew that... lol, just thought I'd point out how I saved my poor ass some money last weekend.
