If you're a warrior primary, zealous swords rule.
You may want to check out Energy Management, Table 2 specifically. Note that no profession with base energy regen from their armor gains 2 energy per second.

in order to gain 2 en/sec you would need 6 pips. in most cases something like this is temporarily accomplished through skills like Blood is Power.

Zealous is nice when you're not blinded... etc. If you can grab hundred blades or other spells that up your number of attacks, it's a pretty neat effect.

You will gain energy faster with a zealous weapon when fighting than your standard regen. They are nice to have. A zealous axe is awesome ,using that attack( cant remember, the ae one) you gain energy quick.

Ahh I see my mistake now I was just assuming energy pips were the same as health pips without really thinking about it :P.

Hmm I know of hundred blades and cyclone axe but are there any others? I don't much like flurry due to the annoyance of recasting it but I guess I can see the possible advantages.

muahaha, I LOVE my zealous sword!
Yes your natural energy recovery is -1 (dog slow) but with frenzy you hit 33% faster than normal.. and thats one instant point of energy everytime you hit! which is helluva fast
Essential for The Snowmans Elementalist secondary skills
another benefit of frenzy is that your adrenaline also recharges much quicker..
the only down side to this is the extra damage inflicted, making me a bit squishy sometimes
now my current Zealous forked sword of fortitude only does 7-10 damage but gives me +30 to my health, and affords me far more energy to do far more damage from skills (which also execute faster under frenzy)
