my Chimeric Prism is weaker than the one posted

:

- 5 Base Energy (if equipped without attribute)
- 3 Energy (8+ Divine Favor)
- 7 Energy (8+ Energy Storage)
- 7 Energy (8+ Soul reaping)
- 7 energy (8+ Fast Casting)
- 8 Armor (8+ Divine Favor)
- 16 Al (8+ Strenght)
- 10 Al (8+ expertise)

O_o it grows with my level? i'm twelve and it didn't change yet

I Hope this is a bug, only +13 energy for an Elementalist / mesmer / Necro it's useless

I levelled hard for the first two days and I really don't feel like doing it again ALREADY. I'd rather not have to reroll to get my item -_-

But the strength on Chimeric Prism seems overpowered. You have a +5 energy 16 AL shield. While it isn't always better then the +45 health ones in PVP, it's still a far cry better then anything most people will see in PVE.

Ithas Bow is probably the worst, a trajectory that makes flatbows look flat for once, and not exactly the best rate of fire or range, has +5 armour to everything even though it has only slightly less range then a long bow (whats the point then? make it add damage or something) it's only meant as a filler, and even then, it only fills up to the point where you get your first short bow.

My husband wrote to support regarding his missing Ithas bow and they said they are aware of the situation and are rolling out a fix for it in the next 24 hours.

It would be nice for NCSoft to publicly admit there is a mistake with the items disappearing, and talk about their planned fix instead of everyone having to write to support to get the same answer.

Most folks go home at around 5pm... it looks like they rolled out the changes and went home for the night. They will be back in action and address the issue (hopefully) this morning. I just know my stuff was there last night when I started playing at 9 after waiting all night for the game to DL (long story).

The ithas bow is doing 4-7 damage now? I wonder if I hadn't accidentally scrapped better bows for the inventory slots...

I was wondering if they were going to balance the pre-orders sooner or later. Most of the weapons were way cooler than most drops I've gotten.

What if you create ur Charachter (which ive done lvl 5 necro so far) and few days later get the pre order items in mail then activate them..... WTF! they should apear in the inventory...

For those that are saying their character they used in the Beta doesn't have the item they entered in, you will need to delete that character and re-create them.
I found that my initial character from Beta didn't have the item.
When I created a new character, whammo, I did.

Just a thought.

I have a different sort of problem.

I pre ordered my GW from EB. Now from what I know the pre order item from EB was supposed to be a bow. For some reason I get a censor instead? Why is this? Did I do something wrong? I have entered both keys (my beta pre order key and the key inside the release version found inside the jewel case on the insert) and still can not get the bow.

I want my bow, not a censor. What's the fix for this problem?

I also lost my bow the other day and got a response that they were fixing it within 24 hours. 36 hours later I wrote again and I got a message saying that they'd be setting up a command to get your preorder item whenever you needed it incase you lost or destroyed it.

Been about 20 hrs now...I'm sure it is a hard fix though. Hopefully they are back and fixed up by Monday.

It doesn't get better with levels, it gets better as you put points into the attributes listed. Such as Divine Favor or Expertise. Obviously you can't put points into all the stuff listed in that item, so you only get some of the effect.

You can actually only put points into one of the attributes, since they are all reserved for the primary profession. So you can only get one of the effects, the one that match your primary professions.

The US pre-order items are better than the prism for one particular profession (primary or secondary), and worse for all other professions.

On the subject of bow's and this item..

is it me or is the item shafting Rangers?.. my friend complains because he is a ranger, rangers use bows.. two handed weapon, and therfore can never carry the item.

I realise other class have two handed weapons as well, and I realise that rangers dont HAVE to use a bow... but, cmon, rangers and bows are like fish and chips

I understand it might take awhile to implement the fix, but I still think ArenaNet or NCSoft should have stepped up to the plate and admitted the problem. We are just a few complaining here, how about all the others that were effected that simply haven't seen this site or the others and wonder what is going on? It would be nice to put a small statement - even if written in the positive light - about the items on the main Guild Wars website... and keep updating as necessary. 2 days ago they said 24 hours....

just happened to me. i had all 4 charcs w/ the targe. but after remaking 2 they both didnt have the shield after creation...hope they update us soon.
