I played on the American servers from the start, and I hope other English speaking Europeans (in particular from UK and Scandinavia) will switch over to get more life in the American server at European prime-time. The American world is 99.8 English (or some dialect like "1331"). The remaining 0.2% are Spanish (or Portuguese, I can't tell).

What I really hope is that ArenaNet will realize the division into worlds was a mistake. Instead they can use the language preference to divide into districts, when there are enough people to do so. They could also use some automated test to find the closest data-center, netwise, which may not be the same as the closest geographically.

Stupidly, I switched regions a lot when I first bought the game before I knew what I was doing...

I am currently on the European servers, and I have one switch left..

It's a little annoying (and was very stupid), but because of this I am staying on the European servers.

Ridiculous. As has been pointed out, Russia's holdings in Asia may cover a lot of square miles, but those square miles are pretty empty of people. Russia's population, like it's culture, has always been and continues to be primarily European. Politically, they may not be part of the EU, but they're quite definitely culturally European.
