I recently bought GW after playing on the beta months ago, upon playing the game I found much had changed most of this was for the best but there are a few things really bugging me about it. The first of these things is healing spells, now i'm not anobout monkes here, what I am talking about is a level 6 necromancer trying to train up an bit and the damed monsters have healing spells, the worst case of this was sitting infront of my computer for 20 min's trying to kill one monster that kept healing, I was not alown in this incident I had a henchman (Warrior) anyone noticed this?

Another thing that annoyes me is something that afects a necromancer again, in the beta a necromancer was able to select the dead body that it wante to raise as a minion, this could be used stratigicaly to get the most out of the short time minions have before dieing.

This is proberly the wrong thread so if it is I know so don't f**king cry about it. But anyways what annoys you in guildwars?

Lack of grammar skills in-game (and out)

As well as the healing monster crap. That is just stupid. I stand there, dealing roughly 60-68 or so per arrow with a buff thing, and the mofo keeps healing, AFTER i stole energy from him TWICE successively. It makes no sense.

The robots (henchmen) are brain-dead. I die, i respawn, and the mofo necro or healer (sometimes both) run off. I look at my minimap, desperate to find a pathway to give chase, to see in utter horror as the dumbass bots run THROUGH the barriers (walls, what have you) on the map, going to the EXACT SPOT where we all died moments before. Problem is, they are dead by the time I get to them, because they are OCD towards that ONE DAMN MONSTER.

People that constantly add me to a party after I click 'reject'. I tell them I am not interested, and get no response. just "reject or not" repeatedly. If I actually DO join, 8 times out of 10 I get no commentary at all. No words. No direction, no request, no plan. Just running off into the sunset like Tonto.

I also love it (as in hate it) how everyone I encounter is SELLING something, but refuses to BUY anything. It's retarded.

And last but not least:

The merchants are hideously overpriced. You click on something, see its value, they dont even offer HALF that. Its ridiculous.

But, I keep playing, because the game is fun. But still. That bot issue is for the birds.

I "agree" monks need a nerf :P their too important as it is. I mean, seriously, no other class is valued single-handedly in PVP and PVE. Mesmers are important in PVP, but just sit there in PVE. Necromancers are opposite I guess. But Monks? Woah. Nerf their egos

some Spell Animations need work on like Pheonix and some others otehr then that its great

or have burning a type of condition like bleeding.

The henchmen thing can be annoying, but its easy to jump to a city rather than having to walk everywhere unlike other MMORPG's I've played so all in all I find this a minor annoyance.

Being able to target a body as a necromancer would be cool..

Healing Creatures, hmm can be annoying, but it also says to me..
Either.
A, you didn't take a big enough party,
B, you a trying to kill something beyond your power,
C, You have no mana left to cast spells,
D, you seriously need to adjust your skill selection.

Other pet hates are more of a personal thing rather than a gameplay thing, such as players not chatting / party spamming etc.

I will party with anyone, but if they dont reply to anything I type, I leave group at first available opportunity.

Things I guess heal too, think about it this way, if we are the enemy to it, it would be getting pissed if we kept healing on it aswell.

The thing that bugs the living hell out of me is simply this.

Does the monk henchman think she is a ****ing ninja or something. Half the time she is racing me to melee range of the mob I'm charging. Its freaking rediculous how close to your ass she wants to hang. I wish I could park her and nail her feet to the ground.

No jumping.
No real social communication.
No roleplaying districts.
No way to pick out friends on your map.
Monsters that still kick your butt do not give any XP.
Impossible to solo at most parts.
Getting LD'd and not being able to log back in.
Guilds not having enough options.

I could go on and on though.

People speaking 10 languages in one zone, they pretty much flood the chat with it.
Not able to upload your own cape emblem and whatnot.

The overactive censorship was just about the only thing that irritated me, before I realised that the chat filter was on medium.

Well, the henchmen too, but that's to be expected.

Exactly! And its worse in the ice gate (sp) mission. Theres FIVE of those, and they are all healers. Me and a friend got wiped at level 15 with 4 henchmen. No xp from em!

I killed them after though, it's not like i can't take them.. Just stupid that they can STILL hit you so HARD.

I have to agree with he enemies healing. Those damn scorpion like creatures attack really fast, and can somehow heal instantly, seemingly not even missing an attack.

You can adjust the censorship to none, medium or high so you can basically swear all you want if you just put it on none, but people with medium or high just won't see it.
