hello im new to the board, and i was wondering why, when I go to the guild halls the merchant says they are sold out of celestial sigils?

There is an ongoing thread about this, but the reason is that they are.....well..........sold out. The only real way to get a sig is to ether hold the HoH, or buy it form another player for around 25k.

No, the merchant is always sold out of sigils, it's just there to tease you. The only way to get it is to hold the HoH or buy it like Manderlock said.

I may be wrong, but I think the reason she is always out of stock is that no one ever sells her any Sigils.

Well, I participated in the betas, and I luckily got my cape for 100g - but it wasn't during the beta, it was during the first half-hour or so of the 48 hour preview. I still don't have a Guild Hall, but I have nearly 14k saved up myself. I imagine the other 3 people in my guild will have the remainder soon. I really need to start recruiting LOL.

Sam, that is by far the best use of the edit command I have ever seen.

When people complain about the pvpers marking up the price on Sigils, they have to take into account that this is a major way pvpers make money.

While your out hunting mobs, exploring, and getting rich off of it, were there fighting each other, and being poor.

Now, to all the PvE's who say, well, you could go and hunt for a little bit and get money, we can say right back, well, you could go and hold HoH for a little bit and get a Sigil. It evens both gameplays out in the end. Neither a sigil or a ton of cash will just be handed to you.

I'm afraid the only way the price of sigils will stay this high is if the sigil traders pay a lot for them. Given how many sigils drop per week, prices will drop some. Our guild has sold about 6-8 of them so far for 25-30k each. I expect everyone will have a guildhall once the new folks start ascending and making decent money.

Well, it is if you only have 4 people in your guild.... lol

You can do it in a pick-up group at HoH, you just won't be able to guarantee that you get the Sigil when it drops. It's random chance like in all parties.

The other (obvious) solution it to get more guild members.

Really? Are there decent pick-up groups there? I just assumed if there were any they got owned regularly... might hafta give it a shot or 4.

Yeah, I have been waaay too busy in PvE land to try and recruit anyone lol.

Well, there's no way to guarantee a good pick up group. But yeah, it happens.

Go to HoH with your four guild members grouped and enter. It should automatically fill out the extra slots and keep the rest of you together, I think. (I can't be sure. I've gone in with a full guildie group, and I've gone in with none, but never half a party.)

Not only would it give you a slightly better chance of winning, but it would give you about a 50% chance of getting that sigil if you did win.

Heck... maybe you'll meet some good players doing it and get a few guild members, who knows?

The first night I played the Halls, I wasn't even with my guild, then I started playing with the group I was with more and more, they would hop on my TS server, and we would play decent. 3 days later I've invited 6 of them to join, now I have a solid PvP team setup that can work together.

and if you can, were is it?

and how long or how many times do you have 2 win for the sigil 2 drop?

do you have to have a guildhall?

sry 2 sound like a newb but im not 2 clear on how to get it all thz ~!
