skills bugged
Don't know if this has happened to anyone, but it has happened to me several times. It happens when after you use a skill and it takes like 10 times longer for it to refresh back to its usable state. I'm a monk and this problem is really killing me. I have several skills being locked like this at once and there's nothing I can do besides wait and die. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

You'll want to look up a happy little Mesmer skilled called "Diversion." That should answer your question.

Thanks good to know that's not a bug. Need to be more careful next time.

I've had that happen, but shouldn't it show up on your effects bar if you're under the effect of diversion? Whenever this has happened to me there have been no signs that I was hit with anything like this...

To my understanding, Diversion only shows up on the effects bar for 6 seconds, and within that time if you cast a spell, it takes Y seconds longer to cast. If that happens, Diversion simply disappears, except for the recharge time.

Blackout won't even show up on you at all.
Anyway, once you've played mesmer, you realize just how important it is to keep an eye on the active enchantment/condition/hex area. So funny seeing flare spammers go from 100% life to death in a couple seconds because they aren't familiar with Backfire, and didn't see it pop-up in the upper lefthand corner.
So keep an eye up there, and if you're unfamiliar with an icon, put the cursor over the spell and find out what it does, and remember it if it sound bad, so that you don't have to do that every time.
