Ad spams causes flashbacks of D2
Maybe it is just me but over the last couple days I've been seeing and super sized increase of ad spamming that tries to sell gold online if you pay real money. Coming from D2 and spamming and bots I find this upsetting. It's bad enough if you are trying to sell something quick or buy things, let alone now you have to read through to spamming of ads to buy gold online. I personally think you're foolish to even waste US dollars or any other currency to buy gold online.
You might as well just buy an account with everything completed and not have done anything for yourself. Granted farming sux but it's part of the game. Maybe I'm old school in thinking you should play the game yourself rather than let someone do work for you but whatever. I don't want to see or hear stupid spam ads to buy gold online. I think Anet should boot these players who do spam it. I really don't need flashbacks of D2 spams and crap that occurred there. *cringes at the thought*

They need to shutdown the accounts of people that advertise in guildwars. If they want to advertise they can do it on ebay like the rest of the idiots. I have to imagine that this type of advertising is a violation of the TOS.

That's my hope to shut those losers down. Especially seeing they already have massive complaints about spamming, not it's gotten worse to do losers trying to make real money off of it. *sighs* I don't care if someone wants to make real money off the game, but don't make it worse for people by spamming more when it's already bad.
It surprises me because the game is so new and yet people are already trying to get rich by selling gold when the games actual release is about a month or so old. D2 didn't really have all the massive spams til a year+ it's release.

This problem happens to all MMORPG games. The most well-known source of money-trading is IGE.com, which has caused a huge amount of problems in the last game I played (FFXI).
Hopefully the... what're they called in this game... DEVs? I hope they crack down on it soon enough.

Yeah, I really do wish using Ignore would keep you from hearing other players completely.
