Well I've heard that Gwen's mom is named Sarah, well Lo and Behold here's a pic of Sarah, the only time i've ever seen her. Near the res shrine in Ashford Village right outside Ashford Abbey.

Hmmm Gwen does ask if you have ever met her mom.... she is a herbal healer, btw. I take Gwen with me on outings as she casts health, protection, and energy regen spells without snaggin' any of the loot (lest you have flowers, she usually wants those...).

I've seen it around the forums that Gwen's mom is named Sarah, so... I just found this so, yeah if anyone can confirm this i'd be happy...

Yes, Gwen refer to to her mon as a herbalist named Sarah.

You do get a chance to meet her, kind of, in the end-game...

Is there any use for the old tapestry Gwen gives you in pre-searing? I'm still holding onto it incase I can give it to her mother and unlock something cool.

I saw her today too, just next to the pig pen where Farmer Dirk is. Although when I returned to Ashford, I couldn't find Sarah anywhere :<

Hm, that's interesting. Gwen did actually tell me at one point that her mom's name was Sarah, but I'd never actually seen her while I was in Pre-Searing.

By the way, Adaria, my name is Sarah in real life too. Kinda freaked me out after Gwen said her mother's name was Sarah; I thought as I looked at Gwen, "That better not be my future."

I have 2 characters post-searing now (havent met Gwen there yet, but did find the flute) but never managed to get that stupid tapestry; no matter how many flowers I fed her.

What DO we do with our Tapestry Shred? And it probably is her mom, since she was killed in the searing, gwens broken flute is around but no gwen either... I kinda miss the pyromaniac little psychopath >.>;

But she's not 'my' daughter thankfully.

Baal the name of the woman youre talking about starts with an E I believe.

Anyways, I have a wild theory, as I just found Sarah while helping a noob friend. I think if you have Tapestry Shred on another character (and other char is Post-Searing, or not) then your Pre-Searing characters can meet Sarah? Because it's been a while since the patch, and I only just noticed Sarah.

That's cool Adaria! Wow, I thought I was losing my mind when I saw Sarah over once. I barely saw her name register on the screen by the shrine when I was doing some quests. Later in the game Gwen told me her mom was named Sarah so I searched high and low but could not find her. I even created another character to see if Sarah only showed up once or what have you.

I thought it was also interesting to note that when your inside Ascalon City pre-searing and you go over to where Prince Rurik is, you can see Sarah and 3 female Ascalon Townsfolk outside by the theater.

Did she say anything useful and did you have Gwen with you at the time? I know that when I saw her I did not have Gwen following me.

The orphanage woman's name is something close to "Eleanor Rigby". I know that's not her exact name, but I remember thinking of the Beatles song when I saw her so it must have been something similar to that :P

Edit - I just checked it. Her name is Ellie Rigby. I was close.

I did meet Sarah once, but I've never been able to figure out when she shows up (and maybe ArenaNet took her out, even).

If anyone knows how or when Sarah shows up, please share with the class.
