I've never tried SWG, but I can't recall ever hearing anyone say anything positive about it.

Wei Ping sounded like a cool online game. I just invented it with it a few years back after watching a lot of Jet Li movies.
My other names in the game are Flea Ping, Pei Ping, and Li Ping.

I'd have it but yes it does have monthly fees...
I love Star Wars, my dad watched the first one ' A new Hope' ten times when it came out, and I've grown up with it.
Ahem, ignoring the comment about Star Wars...
I want to try SWG But I'm... cheap, as far as monthly fee games go, I'd feel as though I am not getting my money's worth if I dont play it every day...
MxO = Matrix Online, would be kickarse to try too, too bad its pay to play as well -_-;
ANYWAY, back to the main topic and I like the Armoured Monkey, XD cute.

Parias The Great (W/Mo)
Parias is the cleric character's name in HeXen (one of my favorite old-school games) and I've used it in every RPG I've played. "The Great" was added because I couldn't think of anything else

I don't want to derail the thread, but... Star Wars Galaxies does have a monthly fee, it's also a completely crap game and is absolutely nothing like the movies in any way, it is a huge disappointment. That's all I'll say.
As for my character name... At the moment I'm playing a female warrior called Eudora Euridice. Both Greek names, Eudora meaning Honoured Gift and Euridice meaning Justice.
I figured Eudora Euridice = Honoured Gift Of Justice, and thought that it would be a great name for a warrior.

I normaly have a "tag" on my characters, such as -- Perishiko...
It stands for "Perish in kind oblivion." i was asigned this name from a game i palyed a Really long time ago... some war game, and i decided to make my own meaning for it, and i've stood by it for every game i play.

Yikes, where to begin...
SWG is an MMO with AMAZING amounts of potential. Unfortunately, as soon as SOE decided they wanted to release EQ2, they took all their best programmers away from SWG to design their cashcow sequel. I've never played EQ, so I might be a little harsh, but I'm convince this is why they screwed up my game.
I played SWG off and on for about 2 years and met some great people. (That's how my guild formed, but it's another story.) I don't blame SOE for all of it's problems, because I'm certain they bit off more than they could chew. We all know how rabid SW fans can be. I really think their original concept of the game could have been the BEST MMO ever, but they wound up trying to cater to too many people in too many directions and the whole thing blew up in their face.
The game started off fairly well, with some bugs and content still ingame, but promises of fixes, etc. to come soon. A lot of those still haven't been implemented. It has suffered the usual UBER/l337/grinding/griefing problems and the changes they have made only made it worse.
Before I go off on a major rant/tangent, yes it costs $15 per month per character. If you are a SW fan, you might like it for a while because admittedly being in the SW universe is a lot of fun. However, you'll get bored and frustrated pretty quickly.
Lastly, DO NOT believe the commercials you see on TV. Most of them show you playing a jedi character. While playing a jedi character is possible, the timeframe of the game is after A New Hope and before Empire Strikes Back. There really should be no jedi. SOE has made this possible and of course, everyone wants a jedi character. Because of this, they have made it EXCRUCIATING to play and level up a jedi character. I never played one, but all my friends with a jedi say it is the reason they are leaving the game. They recommend KOTOR if you want to play with a lightsaber.
*whew* OK, I'm done now. PM me if you have any other questions.

I was given the nickname Lasher from the wife of a friend of mine, she said I resembled Lasher from "The Witching Hour" series by Anne Rice. Dragon is my Chinese zodiac sign.

You forgot a lot of things here...
1.) The whole game is buggy as hell, a lot of crap has been bugged since launch (Warren anyone?) and they recently released a "combat upgrade" in a state unchanged from what it was on the beta servers.
2.) The whole game is nothing like Star Wars. Period. If you want to play a Star Wars game, play any game that's not this. It has stormtroopers, but it's simply not Star Wars. Anyone who says otherwise is just kidding themselves.
3.) The whole game is a horrible grind, and is more like a job than a game.

My name is an X-man named Rahne Sinclaire, AKA Wolfsbane! I initially chose this name (Just Rahne) in FFXI because I had picked a character that looked like her from X-Men Evolution...
And when I game to GW, I just decided to keep it. So the name stuck with me.
Edit: Also, my Necromancer's name, Miyu Miyuu, is from a movie called Ichi the Killer.

Naia De Alvarie R/Me - Alvarie is German roughly translated to 'army of elves'. The De is more or less a French construction, meaning 'of', or 'of the', and should really be D', but no symbols allowed . So loosely, Naia of the army of elves. I think it has kind of a nice ring.

All my characters have a last name of DeLucky. It comes from my (surprise, surprise) D&D days. I had an Illusionist who always got into trouble and was more times than not lucky enough to get out of it. The DM called me Miranda the Lucky, which morphed into DeLucky and all my RPG style characters (Diablo, NeverWinter Nights, Guild Wars...) reflect the name. The other indicator is the first name begins with M, no real significance to that other than to keep a theme.
