lonewolf, i totally agree with you
this game i think it base on PvP and that PvE is just a sample of what PvP will be like, minus quests, high price runes seller, crazy price on a single weapons, and other things.
I think those people that is complaining about the patch is either a FPS lover (aka, halo 2 fan, cs:s, half life 2) or people that love RPG game like FFX, FFXI, EverCrack II and others.
so nothing to see here folks, you either play GW or go away and let other players take your damn space!!!

ive already beaten the game too 2 weeks ago.. thers nothing left for me to do except farm/pvp.. i farm because i can actually do it alone, make some $, and buy items i cannot find.. random pvp becomes boring because playing against a "real" team means instant loss to you.. plus, my guild sucks, is inactive, doesnt pvp that much, and it takes time to find the perfect pvp-guild.. even if i were in the best guild, it would be boring, there's no incentive to play.. so what if i win a sigils, what am i going to do with them, sell them until i max out gold? create my own guild? come on, offer some better incentives to pvp.. wtf is fame used for? its just a damn #, its just for bragging rights, it doesnt mean jack****.. what i want is something new everytime, such as farming and unlocking new runes or finding ultra rare weapons.. ive already made a new character too, but i dont really feel like investing another ~100 hours to ascend it again.. ive done all the quests/missions in the game once and i think thats all im going to do.. way too time consuming and effort consuming to redo everything 2-3 times over just for other accounts.. this game lacks too much depth.. 1.5 months since the game has released and ive already exhausted it.. but i guess this is what happens when we dont have to pay a monthly fee..

My only complaint is that the trader doesn't actually have any useful runes. Now the idiots who sell superior vigors for 100k in the trade channel will have a basis for that price.
Makes you wonder which would take longer - actually getting a superior vigor drop, or obtaining enough gold to buy one at such an atrocious price...

While i'm all for elitism (anyone who knows of my taste in music will vouch for that), the problem was you had a false elite in the game, which the patch is starting to address here. Your 'best players' were really just the people with the most gold. Thats not skill, thats having a good farming build (something thats easy to find on the intraweb) and a nice chunk of time.
This has helped level the playing field for those who havent been playing as long. This is making sure the best players have access to the things they need to be on a level playing field with the people who've been playing longer than they have.
To sum it up, try again. Your argument doesn't hold water.

Maybe I did play it too much, but Im glad i did, because if I didnt ***** the 100+ runes at Riverside in a few days, or make 50k+ off flesh golems in 50 runs, I wouldnt be where Im at. I must admit, Im better off than most people, and I shouldnt complain, but I find fun in farming and unlocking runes, and discovering nice items. The thrill of unlocking a Superior Vigor (which I have not done yet, and probably wont) far outweighs the thrill of winning a guild battle. Ive probably unlocked every minor rune, 95% majors, but only 30% superiors. I want to do the rest but its going to be impossible now. At least before it was a FUN grind, farming easy areas in a short period of time, now we have to friggin do missions and quests all over again? COME ON.

Actually, that statement just proves you either aren't on the ladder or are pretty close to the bottom. At the top, it is stagnant. There isn't enough easy meat for skilled new guilds to build their ranking up high enough to let them fight us. Letting in 1000 new guilds, even if they have no skill, will make top level competition far fiercer because top guilds will be pushed into each other on the ladder.

I, too, disagree that superior vigors should be 100k, but I understand why they are that expensive. I mean, you can pay 200 for a minor, with 30hp, or pay 99800 more for 20more hp for a superior? I personally wouldnt pay that much just for 20hp more, cause its not worth it. +20hp isnt a huge difference, if someone puts a huge spell on you, +20hp wont save you. It'll just delay your eventual death. But I understand why superior vigors are expensive ,because they're rare. If they popped out more often, then more people would have it, and they would go for cheaper. So dont complain if something is too expensive, it's probably not meant for you.
