I killed a whole group of Griffin's trying to get gold (not gold items.. gold) and.. none of them dropped anything. (I was by myself..)
don't know about everyone else, but I'm annoyed.

Let me see you solo hydras. Sure you might kill a hydra that is solo, but those are rare. Most travel in 2's and 3's and while you're fighting those it's likely more will aggro as the groups are very close to each other. So soloing hydras might be possible but not time effective at all.

Yes for some reason there are less drops of everything even when you solo. It used to be each monster dropped something. But now I see that many do not drop anything at all.

Okay, so it seems that some people feel the drop rate has been reduced, and others say it has been increased.
It'd be nice to know which one it was.
Btw, I'm not saying that the drop rate should be upped to where three purples fall for every mob you kill, but the way stuff is falling right now, it's ridiculous. According to the strategy guide (which is probably wrong), loot is primarily determined by monster level, with a boss monster counting as his own level +4 levels.
Well, I didn't see much of that in the desert last night.
I'm just asking for SOME stuff to drop, I don't have to be swamped in golden items all of a sudden. But so far, I've yet to actually FIND a single weapon that any of my three characters use. All three of them use an item that I BOUGHT.
And I'm sorry, but I'll never get off my stance that FINDING stuff is infinitely more enjoyable than BUYING stuff. This isn't Trader Tycoon, is it?

I concur with that conclusion. Having been the "designated healer in the absence of a real monk", I can attest to the fact that the majority of people playing warriors have a certain dimness to them. I have never seen so many players who will blindly bolt into the nearest mob, start whacking and then have the audacity to blame their death on me. I'm not the one who decided to take on those hydras when the healer in the group announced that they had "2 out of 70" energy.

well it isnt just warriors, how about rangers and casters that like to stand there in the front being attacked and not even try to move, they lose life alot quicker than the warriors, or even better, the warriors who lose about a 3rd of their life, and then run away saying "HEAL ME!" and let the rest of the group get destroyed.

Honestly, this is a misguided stereotype of a misunderstood profession and really irks me when I read it so often. I'm invested hundreds of hours into a warrior, one who doesn't rush in, does allow for time to regen, follows target callers, and stops to consider a strategy before difficult encounters... and you know what? It doesn't matter whatsoever, and nobody really cares.
Almost every single PUG that I've joined has either a ranger, elementalist, necro, or yes... MONK - or all of the above - who rush from encounter to encounter, leaving the group behind and pulling down aggro in a haphazard manner, with very little thought to tactics or teamwork. Everyone complains about warriors who don't wait or rush in, or suggests that they have no brains or are noobs... well look in the mirror people, and quit dumping the problems with your groups on the warriors all the time.
Frankly, I'm just about to give up on the warrior class because nobody wants a warrior who thinks or applies patience. Actually, I'm starting to wonder if there's any players online who want to use their brains at all. The henchmen are geniuses compared to most of the players I've partied with. That's the biggest issue with this game... not nerfing, economics or unlocking. But an inordinate amount of people who don't really want to play the PvE side with any amount of skill or patience.
How many times have you been in a mission where the majority of players vote to skip the cinematic? Let's see a raise of ha...
